This restaurant is located inside UP Town Center, right in the middle of the mall where other restaurants are also located.
Food: Excellent! Snow pork buns - one of the best! A bit crunchy like fried siopao on the outside but soft and juicy on the inside. Yang chow fried rice - the ingredients are overwhelming in a good way. Itās like 1/1 in terms of portion with the rice. Other food we ordered are just as good: siomai, beef noodles with tendon, HK style fried chicken.
Coffee: Itās kinda sweet but the taste and aroma is really something nice. Itās similar to vietnamese style coffee but still different. The sweetness could have been a little less but aside from that, this oneās unique!
Price: A bit on the pricey side, almost like Din Tai Fung but itās worth it.
Service: Theyāre generally good. Not the best service weāve had but theyāre above acceptable.
Something to note: since the resto is located outside, it can be quite warm especially these days. The aircondition canāt possibly sustain the temperature from outside. Also, they donāt have their own restroom. You still need to go inside the mall, not that far but still inconvenient.
Verdict: Yes - love the food, the place is neat, coffee is unique. No - if the price isnāt within oneās budget with the type of food youāre getting. Probably just save this one for something special.
To the management: If you canāt have your own restroom/cr, build at least a wash sink. Something guests can easily wash their hands especially with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHadn't been to UP town in a while and found ourselves randomly doing a late shop for work-related Christmas parties. Searched for something to eat and came across TuanTuan which has a prime spot for foot traffic. When we walked in we found ourselves a seat, since there the person at the door was mingling with other staff near the back of the store. Given it was already after 8pm, the crowd was small and the place was probably going to close in an hour or two. The inside of the restaurant was fine. We ordered after looking at the menu and ordered the Laksa, and a fried siopao/pork dumpling. The Laksa was fine, alittle pricey for the serving we got, the taste was fine but noodles did not go more than 2 servings. Dumplings were gooood. They we how I would describe as fried or crispy on the outside and delicious on the inside. Sad to say other than the cost the service was quite slow considering by the end of our mean there were two other customers eating in the room. Would I go back and check out Tuan tuan? Maybe.. but then again there are plenty of other food choices within UP town .. so only...

In our case, I specifically ordered a beef brisket WITHOUT shrimp for takeout and told the waiter I to separate it from the group's dine-in bill. The waiter I was talking to was a bit confused, so I repeated my order and asked for a menu; I even pointed out to the beef brisket I wanted - first on the list of noodles. (HOW HARD IT IS TO REMEMBER THAT?) The waiter seemingly wrote down my order in a piece of paper while asking/confirming what it was. For the third time, I told him my order was beef brisket WITHOUT shrimp for takeout and separate bill.
spoiler alert: The only thing the waiter got correctly was to put the food in a paper bag for takeout. The food INCLUDED SHRIMP and WAS INCLUDED IN THE GROUP's BILL.
I mean, why bother waste my time three times when you're going to mess it up anyway. You have one job.
Their food was not bad but does not standout either. If you're craving for Chinese food, there are other options without the stress of waiters getting your order...
