My in-person meeting extended so I had to find a cafe to take an online meeting. The mall area seating is less noisier than in the store itself (due to its loud music), it’s not to crowded with lots of seating (stayed 1:45-2pm). My only disappointment is the brewed coffee - taste is ok, but cup was not even close to full, and this is a small sized cup. (I wouldn’t mind if this was an Americano, but this is brewed coffee - among the most basic of coffee drinks.)

The coffee is here is around the same as other cafes, and the taste is about average. I ordered a latte, understandably took a while to arrive as it was noon, and tasted fine. It's a good enough caffeine companion if you're looking to study or read here. A lot of seating. Comfortable booths, cushioned stools, and tall stools at booths. There are also al fresco seating options, but in this heat most people choose to sit inside the cafe.

It is not often that I traverse Quezon City. I was looking for a coffee shop that was familiar and not crowded. Thus coffee bean and tea at UP tech hub. There was also a Starbucks across but it had it regular large crowd of patrons. I prefer the less busy but still tasty coffee bean. It is priced a little bit cheaper as well than its competition. I'm a regular customer at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (Philippines) Ayala Malls U.P. Town Center Branch. Sadly, the customer service is now POOR. Before, the crew here even memorized our orders and were very accommodating. They even followed every details of our requests. Can't believe the manager even pulled-up "I'm the manager" card just to reject a simple request of placing our coffee in a "to-go" cup 🤦🏻 (which could've been quickly resolved with a "friendly" reminder that there's a city ordinance for it and provided other options).

pls hire a manager who sets example of good communication and knows how customer...
