We visited their Ortigas branch last weekend. We were hungry but already anticipated there would be a waiting time pero it was fast though, because kami na talaga yung kina-cater nila at that time, or I must say they make sure to give your orders on time. I ordered Tantanmen Ramen since I love spicy pero I want it to be mild lang kaya I chose it over Spicy Ramen & it was a good choice. I love the broth and the texture of the noodles. Not too thick kaya sakto lang pag kinain, walang umay factor. My son got the Tonkotsu Ramen, and he loved the broth too. Madalas kasi mas may natitira siya na sabaw over the noodles pero this time it was the other way around. Yummy Tokyo is the perfect example of getting authentic, flavorful ramen for a very affordable price. And lastly, for the gyoza, I was surprised that my son ate half of the 6pcs serving. Usually kasi isa lang siya or hindi niya gusto yung filling, pero this time he liked it kaya we end up getting another order for a take out.
They kept the ambiance simple and clean (minimalist), which I love, para hindi masyado distracting while eating. Plus, I'm more at ease dining in because I know our food was prepared in a clean, sanitary-compliant restaurant. Bonus: I love how approachable and friendly their staff is.
Recommended talaga ito for the people or students around the area looking for a yummy meal at sure mabubusog without breaking the bank.
Suggestion: They can add a kiddie meal size/portion for their ramen in the future. The standard ramen size is too big for younger kids like my son kaya common na there will be left overs unless kaya pa ubusin ng adult na kasama, sayang din kasi pag...
Read moreBeing one of the more affordable Japanese restaurant and ramen house in the metro, I actually wasn't expecting much from what Yummy Tokyo has to offer. But my impression changed when I gave it a try this week at Fusebox near UST.
What I first noticed as I entered the place is that it is well-kept, simple and has an authentic Japanese minimalist vibe. Their staff also did a good job in taking orders, serving the food and cleaning.
And yes, the food is delish!! Their ramens are served with soft boiled egg and chasu. Nothing fancy really, but the soup is to die for. Serving is also big as I was full halfway through finishing my bowl. I got my money's worth for such a heavy serving. We also ordered Takoyaki, which I can give a two thumbs up for being perfectly cooked hanggang loob (I hate soggy takoyaki) and Karaage Fries na lightly seasoned lang and doesn't overpower the Japanese Mayo dip.
Highly recommended. Babalik ako to try other ramen flavors!
Things to improve: seating capacity and variety ng drinks (other branches have...
Read moreWe had the pleasure of dining at @yummytokyoofficial , and I must say that it was a truly unforgettable experience.
I was blown away by the warm and friendly environment. The staff was really polite and attentive, ensuring that our eating experience was nothing less than wonderful. But the real star of the show was the food, from the takoyaki to the perfectly cooked gyoza. Every dish I tried was an explosion of tastes in my mouth. I also have to mention Yummy Tokyo's signature dish, ramen. It was without a doubt the best ramen I've ever had! The soup was thick and aromatic, and the noodles were cooked to perfection. Even as I write this, I can taste it! Overall, I strongly recommend Yummy Tokyo. My expectations were exceeded by the food, service, and atmosphere. We left delighted, satisfied, and excited to return for more. If you want to have an amazing dining experience, Yummy Tokyo is...
