Okay to visit!!! Honest review of cafe agustaaa ive been here twice!

✨ AMBIANCE ✨ It’s good magandan interior maganda yung view if u r looking for a place in antipolo w/ a view this is one of them. It’s not rly good if maulan coz limited indoor seats but it’s good na they have a bar and cafe so #fortheview

Although for family dinner and lunch siya or breakfast and lunch w/ friends. NOT RLY FOR DATE sadly coz madami nang tao so the tables are not rly far pangit pang date but chill titahan is ok.

NOT PET-FRIENDLY! Heads up for fur parents! 👉🏻👈🏻 Need daw nakacage kahit leashed w/ diaper bawal 🫠

✨ FOOD & DRINKS ✨ To be honest, medj flop dito. It’s expensive for the taste. Food Prices are 380-500 for food tho pwedeng to share if mahina kumain pero it’s sakto lang. it’s for the view talaga.

The pinaka-okay na we’ve tried is Pork Chop w/ Aurora Sauce (tomato sauce) + Beef Salpicao.

NO SERVICE WATER 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 Quite a big turn off coz medj basic siya pero wala bring a tumblr na lang.

NO CUTLERY FOR TAKEOUT 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 I mean ok for #lesswaste pero as a customer i’d rly prefer it if there’s an option to get or not? cos we had one order to go for the driver looking afterour pet kasi they’re not pet friendly pero wala daw kahit plastic gloves.

✨ PARKING ✨ There’s parking 5 sa taas then the rest street parking pero may bayad Php 30/car whether it be sa taas near the resto or street cos for “safety” daw. MAJOR TURN OFF doe cos the 5 slots is private space tas naniningil then street parking may bayad???? There are other cafes along that road pero si naniningil for parking 🙄

Worth visiting pa rin naman madami lang extras na unecessary and not very pro customer a lot of improvement pa! The marketing is good but customer experience is...

Honest review. First time coming here, I liked the place. Their coffee is okay and their cake tasted good. Ambiance was nice and they have a good view of the city. I thought I could bring my friends here next time when we want to unwind.

My second visit was kind of disappointing. We were sitting in this corner table waiting for a good spot to be available, placed an order and we wanted to transfer to the available seats beside the window to see the overlooking view as we enjoy our coffee. But to my dismay, a staff approached us and told us that they have a "No transferring of tables" In house policy. You can't transfer tables once you placed your order. It's my first time hearing such policy and it was off-putting to hear because we were looking forward to enjoy the view. there was no outdoor seating kasi it was raining. We complied and just enjoyed our time. Hopefully the policy could be reconsidered by their management. Again, the coffee tasted okay.

They don't have WiFi considering that it's a good place where you can also work. They have outdoor seating with good ambiance. Has paid parking space. Staff are somehow accommodating.

Update: 3rd visit. Decided to give them another try. Service is not good, nakikita na kami ng crew nagtataas ng kamay but I saw how he diverted his eyes somewhere else. Hirap tawagin ng crew. The woman sa counter was rather assisting. The Nachos we ordered is bland. We did not finished our food so we asked na i-takeout nalang. We were shocked when they gave us the tupperware and bag. We had to do it on our own with no utensils so kinamay namin yung nachos. First time...

The place was certainly instagrammable and I like that it has a very refreshing ambiance. It certainly has a great view of the sunset and the city.

I like that we didn't wait to be seated when we arrived and the staff were friendly and attentive for the most part.

Moving on to the dining experience however, things took a slight change. The wait time for the food was short, which I like. Next were the drinks, we ordered an Iced Latté and Iced Vanilla Latté. Considering the price and that this was a café, the drinks could have been better. It's certainly nowhere near the level of Starbucks. I hope they improve on this.

We had fries for an appetizer - the cheese sauce was "ok" but they put too much salt.

We had Carbonara Blanca and Putanesca with Fish Fillet as our main dish. The Carbonara was great. The Putanesca however, was average.

I didn't like that we had to ask for cutlery when our food was served. The first thought that came into my mind was "Am I supposed to eat with my hands?". Also, I hoped that they offered to give napkins/tissue when our food got served instead of us asking for it since there weren't any placed on the table where we were seated.

Overall, other than the great view and ambience, it was an average experience. I've had better dining experiences in other places and paid just...

Food: Quite pricy for the quality of coffee and pastry ( actually, double the price of Zus which has truly quality coffee). Probably because of the premium you pay for the place. I had iced cafe latte, it was bland and tasted of milk and coffee only. When I asked for sugar, they did not have any. They did not even offered to pump in sugar syrup. Luckily I had a sachet of stevia on my wallet. We wanted to try the nachos but its already sold out at the time we visited. Service: There is a rule here that you cannot transfer tables, because the servers won't be able to memorize all the customers right? But it can't be helped especially when it starts to rain. I think the better way is to have the customer order at the counter, give a claiming number, and pick up at the counter once ready. Atmosphere: the cafe has an overlooking view of the city, its quite relaxing. The landscape of the cafe is also beautiful, inspired by Santorini. When we visited there was a violinist(?) playing live. However, the toilet needs to be regularly cleaned or mopped at least to get rid of the bad smell ( more customers means cleaning the toilet frequently). The cafe accepts card payments. Summary: Will I go back? I'd say yes, but not for the coffee. Ironic as they are called 'Cafe'

We went to the Pinto Art Museum and took the 7minute walk from the Museum to Cafe Agusta after. Since it was Antipolo, we were out of breath due to the ascent upon arriving and to our great dismay, the water was not free and pricey (20 pesos for a 10ml water bottle). We were seated a bit far from the railings with a better view of the overlooking, so we asked to be seated at the table that was about to be vacated when we arrived, you know for the pictures. They have a no-table-change-once-you-ordered policy, and so we had to wait till we transferred the table before ordering. So, please note that before ordering. The place is small and full as we arrived before dinner. They have the open area and the air conditioned area. This was in June, so with the monsoon season, the temperature is quite cool. The prices are reasonable, and the food is okay. We liked the chicken wings and the pasta. Had the nachos as well though it could use another dash of the condiments (a bit dry with only the meat). Worth it for the price and the Metro Manila at Night view.
