On our second visit to Chawasdee, we decided to bring the whole family for a delightful Thai lunch. The restaurant, nestled in the heart of Antipolo City, once again proved itself to be a sanctuary of authentic Thai flavors.
The meal kicked off with their famous seafood Tom Yum. It was an orchestra of flavors where the heat of the spices harmonized beautifully with the tanginess, creating a symphony that danced in our mouths. A perfect starter to warm our palates.
The Green Curry Chicken was next. The chicken was beautifully tender, almost melting in our mouths. The eggplant added a refreshing contrast, while the sauce was a mild symphony of spiciness and creamy savoriness from the coconut milk. It was a dish that truly represented the essence of Thai cuisine.
The Pork Basil was a delight, with the flavors melding seamlessly to create a memorable taste experience. It was an epitome of Thai homestyle cooking, served right here in Antipolo City.
As for the drinks, the classic Thai Milk Tea was a hit, offering a refreshing interlude between the dishes. The Cantaloupe Fruit Milk was an interesting blend of fruit and dairy, while the Black Jasmine Tea with Lime was a perfect balance of sweet, tart, and floral notes.
The Crispy Thai Fried Chicken was an absolute pleasure. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. The accompanying sauce – a mixture of saltiness, spiciness, and tanginess, laced with notes of fresh cilantro – elevated the dish to a whole new level.
The Seafood Pad Thai was another favorite, with a perfect balance of flavors that made us reach for more. And the Fried Rice of Pork and Shrimp was a savory side dish, complementing the other dishes excellently.
What truly sets Chawasdee apart, however, is not just its food, but also its service and the owners' hands-on hospitality. They made us feel like we were not just customers, but guests in their home, reflecting the essence of Thai hospitality.

You will be greeted by a warm, homey atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like you've been invited into someone's kitchen. The homey, soft lighting and traditional decor set the perfect stage for a relaxing meal. It's not a fancy restaurant, but a homey kind of vibe.
The menu is a delightful mix of classic Thai dishes, all made with legit ingredients that truly honor the cuisine’s roots. Each dish is generously portioned, ensuring you get great value for your money. The Pad Thai is a standout—perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and spice, and packed with fresh veggies and tender shrimp/chicken. The Tom Yum soup is equally impressive, bursting with flavor and that signature tang that makes it a must-try.
What I particularly love is the attention to detail in every dish. You can taste the freshness in the ingredients, and it’s clear that the chefs take pride in their craft. Service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall inviting vibe of the place. However, if you come at peak times, expect some delay on the service.
For those looking for an affordable yet delicious dining experience, Chawasdee is a gem that checks all the boxes. It’s a place where you can savor authentic flavors while feeling right at home. Highly recommend for anyone craving a taste...
Read moreThai food cravings satisfied! Visited on a Sunday around 8pm. The place have few customers when we arrive so we were able to put our orders right away. Serving time is around 20-30 mins. but we got our orders earlier which is a plus. We’ve ordered Shrimp Pad Thai, Pad Kra Pao Goong (Stir Fried Shrimp in Basil), Mango Sticky Rice and Cha Yen (Thai Milktea). Being exposed to Thai food for several years now, I must say that this taste the same if not better with some of Thai restaurants in the metro but in a very good way. I loved how the crunchiness of peanuts, spicyness of chili and the tamarind flavor together with a slice of lime of their Shrimp Pad Thai let’s you experience Thailand in one bite. Their Pad Kra Pao Goong is very tasty that you would want to order an extra rice just to finish even the sauce. Mango sticky rice is not what I expect since the rice is super sticky compared to what I used to eat but flavor wise it’s still good! Cha Yen (Thai Milktea) is one of their best seller and I couldn’t agree more! Store aesthetics (interior & exterior) should improve to make it more easier to promote (not just the food alone but the place as well). Overall, I’ll still recommend this to those who want to try Thai food. Excited to try other Thai dish...
