Shakey's Pizza Parlor Review We visited in early June 2025 on a weekday evening for a family dinner. Since it was relatively early in the evening, seating was plentiful, and we were able to enjoy our meal in an overall comfortable atmosphere. The exterior of the restaurant had a classic feel with the distinctive atmosphere characteristic of authentic American pizza brands. The interior was relatively bright and well-maintained, with adequate spacing between tables that made it comfortable for family dining. The lighting was soft and pleasant, and the air conditioning was working well. While the restroom wasn't located inside the restaurant, it was easily accessible without any inconvenience. The staff were generally friendly and greeted us with bright smiles. While they didn't provide proactive guidance about menu descriptions or recommendations, they responded quickly when requested, which was impressive. The menu was well-organized with photos, prices, and descriptions that were easy to read. With pizza, pasta, chicken, and potato dishes, it featured the typical composition of an American family restaurant that can satisfy various age groups. There was also a wide selection from set menus to individual items.
Carbonara Pasta - The creamy sauce combined beautifully with bacon and mushrooms for deep flavor, and the noodles were cooked just right, resulting in high overall quality. The portion was generous enough for two people to share. Garden Garlic Bread - It had a nice texture that was both crispy and soft, with a rich garlic aroma that paired well with the pasta. MOJOS (Potato Fries) - The thickly cut and crisply fried potatoes were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The combination with the provided dipping sauce was excellent. Fried Chicken - The crispy batter and juicy meat complemented each other perfectly, and it was cleanly prepared without any unpleasant odor. It was authentic American-style and perfect to enjoy with the Mojos. Hawaiian Delight Pizza (Thin Crust) - The thin, crispy dough was generously topped with ham and pineapple, creating a sweet and salty flavor profile that harmonized well with the cheese. The refreshing taste of pineapple became more pronounced with each bite, cutting through any greasiness. Iced Tea (Pitcher) - The iced tea with a refreshing lemon scent wasn't overly sweet and left a cool aftertaste that paired well with the fried items.
Considering the set composition, a family of four was able to enjoy a satisfying meal for around 5,000 pesos. Given the quality and portion size of each menu item, the value for money is excellent. There were no additional charges or service fees. Overall satisfaction is 4.5/5 points, making it very suitable for families seeking American-style casual dining, group gatherings, or dining out with children. The Mojos, pasta, and chicken are particularly recommended dishes. I would recommend this to those who prefer comfortable and substantial meals over Instagram-worthy aesthetics, and I have...
Read moreWe had a disappointing dining experience here today. Upon arrival, the staff didn’t seem to notice guests coming in, we stood outside for quite a while before anyone showed us to a table. The service throughout our visit was also very slow and poorly managed. Despite arriving first, other tables were served ahead of us. One of our orders was also forgotten and only arrived after we had already finished eating. On top of that, our food was served one dish at a time instead of being served all at once, and we even had to ask for our gravy because it wasn’t brought out with the rest of the meal.
To add to that, our drinks were charged incorrectly, double the actual price. My friend chose not to make a big deal, but it was still frustrating. The staff weren’t attentive either as we noticed several customers having to stand up and approach them just to ask for assistance.
By the time we finished, we were clearly frustrated, we had already been following up multiple times and making faces that showed how disappointed we were. It felt like the staff were aware of it, which made it even more off-putting when they didn’t thank us as we left, especially since they were thanking other customers who left around the same time.
Considering it wasn’t even a busy lunch hour and there were only a few other customers, the poor service was very...
Read moreWe had the worst customer service experience at Shakey’s Robinsons Antipolo. We waited for a long time, thinking the place was full and busy, only to discover that there were actually several vacant tables inside. No staff approached or gave updates while we stood there confused and waiting. When we were finally seated, it didn’t get any better. Our food was served one meal at a time with long intervals in between we couldn’t even eat together as a group. There was clearly a lack of coordination and urgency among the staff, and it felt like they weren’t trained to handle dine-in customers properly.
We’ve always chosen Shakey’s for casual family meals, but this experience was beyond disappointing. It felt like we were being ignored, and we left feeling frustrated, unsatisfied, and not valued as customers. For a well-known brand, this kind of treatment is unacceptable. With so many other dining options around, it’s safe to say we won’t be coming back to this branch. This was truly the worst dining experience we’ve had in...
