Hungry Neighbors PH CSFP — Restaurant in San Fernando

Five star excellence. My girlfriend, now wife, had been bringing me here since 2018. Very rare do I have a complaint. On this particular trip, it was thunderstorming and raining extremely hard. As expected, we were greeted by Kuya with umbrellas so that we could make it inside without getting wet. Wifey had cravings for beef/steak so she ordered the Bisteca slices cooked medium. (I appreciate that they cook a true medium instead of like most places in the Philippines cooking a medium done or slightly under done when you ask for medium. ) I ordered the Salpicao and fried Calimare to make it a somewhat surf and turf night. Everything was cooked to perfection and very tasty.

This was probably my 20th or so visit here over the years and I just thought it appropriate to finally do a review. I've tried almost everything on the menu, except the cheese burger (wife vetoes it everytime, haha - health reasons :/..) and have been satisfied with all of it.

Complaints. Of course the Parking when they're busy, but that's natural and can't be avoided for any place in the Philippines that's worth the hassle. The service at times can be better when they're busy. Maybe they're short staffed at times, but their friendliness and effort is always worth your patience.

Hungry Neighbors San Fernando is such a nice place to dine. The whole place has a really good ambiance—clean, cozy, and perfect whether you’re with family, friends, or just want a chill night out. The food never disappoints, servings are generous, and everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. Drinks are also a plus, especially if you just want to relax after a long day.

What I really like is that they don’t just cater to regular dining. They actually have a private room that’s perfect for intimate gatherings like birthdays, small parties, or meetings. At the same time, they’re also set up to handle big events, so it’s very convenient if you’re looking for a place to celebrate something special without worrying about the space or the food.

The staff here are consistently friendly and attentive. You really feel taken care of whenever you dine, which makes the experience even better. We went here from Bataan as we were traveling back to Manila. The additional few minutes of drive was worth it as they served tasty dishes.

The beef salpicao had a very nice flavor and the meat was very tender. The serving was generous also.

The mushroom soup was okay. The taste was quite okay but it would be better if they made the consistency thicker and more creamy as well. It felt like the Knorr Mushroom soup and they just added some drops of truffle oil.

Not in the photos: buffalo wings. Cooked to perfection: both crispy and soft. Very tasty also, not being too sour nor too spicy.

Drinks: Iced tea and cucumber lemon, both were like powdered Nestea juice so manage expectations.
