I’m not sure how to say things nicely but I will try my best. The hotel, (I think best describe as bed and breakfast rather than a hotel) share the same amenities with their restaurant and tropicalstay villas. When we arrived the parking was packed because they also share the same parking, parking can accommodate more than 10 vehicles but 2 parallel so some cars has to wait for other cars to be able to pass. When we checked in, we had to walk pass the common toilet to go the office (A room full of office stuff) which is not a nice way to welcome guest specially if the toilet was overly used since lunch time just finished. We were entertained right away. The receptionist/ office lady was nice and very accommodating. We got two rooms 1 family room and 1 deluxe room. To be honest the place is actually really nice, aesthetic and well designed, but the problem is it’s not maintained well, (I think due to lack of staff, the restaurant have a lot of stuff but the hotel, I don’t even know if they have their own housekeeping or they just pull someone from the restaurant) the place is dusty, the couch and pillows have stains. Even the bed by the lap pool has stains. I want to sit down and chill but I’d rather not because of the stains, the dining room at the second floor where we ate our breakfast are as dusty so I had to clean the tables and chairs. Every spot in the hotel looks so nice and aesthetic that you would like to stay and chill but because it was not clean, it doesn’t feel welcoming. This hotel has a potential, I really do hope that they can clean and maintain it. But for now this is all I can say.

Before you book your stay at Hamanda, I suggest reading this first. Pros: - Fast check in / check out - good location (near nlex exit) - restaurants nearby - malls nearby - Enough parking since its only us checked in - pet friendly Cons: - smelly rooms - very dirty and dusty rooms - nobody at the reception past 5pm - no heater - no toiletries - very slippery bathroom tiles (careful) - worn out pillows - worn out blankets - worn out towels - no soundproofing (you can hear motorcycle mufflers and buses honking) - very small pool (no chlorine) - big rats wandering at night - noisy cats at night - slow wifi - hotel is overall boring Please see pictures taken during our stay

We stayed for 2 nights in the classic room. It's just a quick getaway while still being in the city. Everything was clean and well-kept. The only cons that I encountered during our stay was, there was a sewer smell that I can smell in the room, and no breakfast option. During our stay, they served the same breakfast. I hope that they fix their meal plan.

I should've read all the reviews first before booking. I wanted to stay here since I saw them on Instagram but I didn't expect the experience and quality of the hotel.

THE PROBLEMS: No reception. The manager was on leave when we booked. Customer Service even on IG or SMS is very inconsistent and poor. The guy from Souq Restaurant was the one who helped us check-in and they didn't have any access to any system let alone a reception area to check bookings. If we weren't that tired from a 2-hour drive, the hot weather, and if it wasn't for the restaurant staff's kindness, we would've just left.

I'm all for sustainability and recycling BUT it was frustrating to find out that even the pillows, pillowcases, sheets, bat towels looked like they were recycled from another place like they didn't just gotten worn-out in the hotel but before they even started using it. It was quite off and borderline gross. I hope they can at least replace these worn-out items bec they are heavily used by the guests. For the rate, you'd get a really good bnb with better linens, pillows, and towels.

YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. I definitely did not expect this at all but there was CONSTANT noise from the road. Yes, convenient coz you're in the main road. But we definitely didn't get to sleep. We were zombies the morning after. We wanted to relax from that birthday trip but it wasn't relaxing at all.

Customer service is very poor or non-existent. If you remove the restaurant people, literally no one from the hotel team was there. It was so weird. It felt like a low-end bnb but with hotel rate and "marketing". I've been to similar "aesthically" beautiful boutique hotels and this one is probly the only one I didn't enjoy.

Not well-maintained. Interiors and exteriors were no longer maintained unfortunately. Pool was dirty. Common areas were dirty. Some of the tables in the common area where we had breakfast (there's no table and chair in the room) were even dusty like they havent been cleaned for a long time. Not sure if thats intentional for the look of the hotel 😅 but since youre a hotel and guests are expected to use the common area, might as well clean them, right? The lamps in our room were also dusty along with some of the items in the table in our room. Everything just looked old in a no longer charming way.

I have other things to say but Ill just leave these major items hoping these will be improved and help others to reasses first before booking. I really hope the management is also reading every single review bec I love the design and vision for the hotel but these are really deal breaker.

Until they're fixed, I don't recommend booking yet.

SOUQ Restaurant tho was fantastic. The best we've tried in...

After another round of lockdown, J and I wanted to have a weekend break where leisure stays are allowed so Psmpanga was it.||We heard that San Fernando was the least strict amongst the tourist towns of Pampanga so the newest hotel in town was chosen...Hamanda Hotel.||PROS:|1. Unique eclectic design. Every corner is IG worthy.|2. Classic room was small but stylishly designed. Room amenities not typically found in a 3star.hotel eg. Nespresso machine, 50in netflix ready smart.TV, slippers, hair dryer.|3. Small pool was a welcome surprise.|4. Hamanda is attached to Souq restaurants so wide array of food and option drink options available in the same eclectic themed setting.|5. Lou the lady in charge was warm and engaging. She also granted our request for a room at the back of the hotel...Thanks a lot!||COULD BE IMPROVED:|(For full disclosure, Hamanda was still on soft opening and had too comply with some limited quarantine rules when we stayed)|1. The handful of hotel staff seems to be shared by the restaurant so when requesting for assistance (pool towel, room serviced breakfast), it took one or two follow-ups to get things done.|2. Inclusive breakfast option was only tosilog with 3-in-1 coffee. However they had flexibility to change it to fried chicken when we mentioned 1 hour before the 9am serving time that we had dietary restrictions against pork. Just fix a Nespresso cup for breakfast instead of the 3-in-1.|3. The stylishly design of the room was heavy on reclaimed wood, handicrafts and repurposed items. Maybe? these triggered J's allergic rhinitis. Suggest to do thorough cleaning to remove allergens specially during these times of covid.|4. The bedside tables in the classic room was made of a hollowblock propped up by another 2 holllowblocks as legs. This made the surface area too small and too rough to put guests' mobile phone and other personal items. Suggest to change to a bigger and smoother surface.|5. Hotel is along a major road so some rooms are more exposed to road sounds. Bring earplugs if sensitive to sounds for better sleep.||In conclusion, we still had a memorable stay and would stay again when in San Fernando once Hamanda adjusts from their...

I'll be writing quite long review for this. My apologies for whomever will be reading this.||||We stayed in Hamanda hotel over the weekends and we've chosen to book for their Deluxe room which is more spacious than the classic room (which I presume their standard room)||-During arrival and finding the hotel (thanks to waze app) we're quite unsure if where's the entrance of Hamanda. Its located beside the Souq restaurant or rather inside the Souq restaurant. I believe this should be indicated on the reservation confirmation as well to avoid confusion.||-I did message them on Instagram but I understand that responses might be delayed. Tried reaching out through phone, but it keeps on ringing then that's the time we decided to go inside.||-We're immediately assisted once we log in on the log book (not what I expect) I thought they have some front desk or something but we we are assisted by the staff to go inside within the resto vicinity.||-Check in was breeze. We were led inside our room and inform about the breakfast and a bit of the house rules.||-Breakfast- a bit small for its serving size. my suggestion is they can probably ask first too the guest if they opt for a non pork variant.||-Design of the room- I can't complain as well as the pool area. Good use of eco friendly materials and resources.||-Aircon inside room 6 is not cooling properly. Kindly check this.||-shower- it seems that no hot water is available||-NESPRESSO Machine- so cool for you to include but we tried making it and coffee lacks some milk (if you can provide it would be great but otherwise, good job!)||-amenities- two toothbrush kits are provided but only one small soap. Make sure to improve this also.||-Price- I might say for the design it was okay but for the service it seems that its not reasonable but I believe this would be improved! :)||Lastly, I'm missing the hospitality and warmth in service. Hope this could be improved as well! Thank you and hoping to get back and see...
