I had a look oine for a seafood restaurant and this came up. Loaded with a mate or two, we popped along. I wish I had done my research properly. On arrival we were greeted by staff to an empty restaurant. An open eatery with lovely views onto the bay, a nice cool breeze off the sea. We ordered a mixed seafood, 585pesos. We also asked for beer, only Red Horse available and it was too early for one of those!. However, the staff obligingly went off and bought us a can of SM light, good service. Now the dish. The menu described it as 1lb of mixed seafood. I expected a few different varieties of fish to be included. The plate arrived shortly after. It was a lot and piled high but very disappointingly comprised of a few small shrimps, a few slithers of squid and a mound of mussels, lots of cheap mussels. There was a sauce with it, tomato based and quite bland. No spice, no seasoning and no real flavour. Adding soy chilli and vinegar made ot more palatable. We paid the 750pesos bill and my companion suggested a resto next door for our desert. This place was amazing, good menu, great service and the food looked amazing. Big regrets at not having seen this first. We will return and I'll review...
Read moreWe went here recently, and we had the best lunch ever! My husband and I love their Sinigang na hipon which is unlikely for him to love that dish but because it was legit delicious he can’t stop eating it and even finished everything. Their Boneles bangus was big enough to feed 4 people and to our surprise it was equally good like the sinigang, plus the belly was quite big and thick that we didn’t even have to fight who gets the big chunk because it was enough for us to share. They even have bagnet which is super crispy and tasty, love how they didn’t went cheap on the quality of their rice! I have to mention it since it’s usually the make or break of a restaurant. They also serve pancit canton which is really good, I ate it all by myself since I am into pancit! And it tasted like in some good chinese resto in binondo! I would definitely rate them a 5 star for the quality of their food and how they don’t go cheap on the quality of their ingredients and how generous when it comes to their servings! Super recommended ! Food tasted great for a very reasonable and affordable price. Definitely worth trying! Definitely will come back! Actually glad we found this...

Spent last year's Christmas vacation in La Union nd visited Patio del Sol Seafood Restaurant, being highly recommended by a friend.
Very safe to say that it did not disappoint. My daughters and I shared calamari for starters, and went straight on for the crabs! The serving was more than expected, and the price is definitely just right.
We came back for dinner the following day and had the most amazing Kare-Kare prepared none other than the owner.
I'd say this is probably the best restaurant in town. It was a bit crowded when we visited, but it did not become an excuse for the staff to give their 101%. Couldn't be more than happy with the hospitality and kindness of the management and staff.
Already planning another trip to La Union this Summer. Will definitely visit this restaurant again.
Thumbs up to Patio del...
