I was surprised many people still eat here. We just had a hankering for fajitas and fish and chips When the kids were much younger, this place was in our regular restaurant rotation. They loved the old timer burger and the chicken crispers. Also, they used to be the only restaurant open during Holy Week. The Greenhills branch needs a face-lift. The Interior really looks and feels old. The table arrangements also need to be reorganized. Another thing they should improve on is the air-conditioning. There are areas that are too warm, and they have no electric fans to offer. And an area that is so much cooler. The food was good. As expected from Chili's. My daughter did mention that everything in their menu had the same ingredients. I said, it'sto cut down on food inventory plus they serve a very specific type of cuisine, which is tex-mex. The staff here are wonderful. Very accommodating and friendly. But the food took too long to get served and getting the food bill paid was torture. It's like they dont want you to leave. I was watching our server punch in our request for the bill. It was like watching paint...
Read moreCame in and the host seemed impatient that I was there. He told me to take a seat in one of the waiting chairs and I had to adjust my hair and face mask since I got caught in the rain. He asked me immediately if I had an order even after seeing I had not even had time to open the menu yet since 8 had to remove the huge knot from my face mask and jacket (he was watching me impatiently) then rolled his eyes after I apologized and said I didnt have it yet. A bunch of other people came in after me who were also ordering food for take out but he made them sit in the restaurant booths and offered them water. They ordered after I did but their food arrived earlier and this host was all smiles with them. Prejudiced Greenhills branch. The one in Timog was a stark contrast, the hostess was incredibly warm and hospitable, and not once had an attitude whether it was towars me or anyone else in the restaurant. Greenhills branch is the worst Chili's branch I've been to by far, I would avoid...
Read moreAte here very often either with wife or family since the year 2000. Everything is actually very good here, with the exception of the steak. As with steaks, I have this belief that unless the place is a steakhouse, you're only setting yourself up for subpar steaks in most American joints. True enough, the Ribeye we requested was medium rare but was very chewy. It may have been the beef quality itself or the way it was cooked, but this is a dish we won't order again.
However, other dishes such as the ultimate dipper, southweastern egg rolls, ribs, fajitas, chiken crispers were all great! There is limited parking space, but if you visit past 8pm, you may use the street side as parking.
Fun fact: This placed used to have an internet cafe at the basement floor back in 2000. I loved Chili's then not just because of the food, but because I wanted to play Half Life Counter-Strike...
