Pros: the vibe Chicken bowl tasted good

Cons: overpriced meals Severe price gouging on Coca Cola Very very bland mashed potato filling in potato croquettes Never received dipping sauce for croquettes Owner sitting in guest area with a grumpy face eaves dropping on conversation without introducing himself…🙄

The vibe of this place is nice and chill, similar to Bali very tribal. The prices are a joke even in a tourist area for the Philippines. I’m giving it 3 stars based off the chicken bowl and vibe but they lose 2 for the severe price gouging.

The potato croquettes looked nice to the eye maybe slightly over fried a bit dark but still pleasant to see, the mashed potato filling however was very bland and had no flavor… some salt mixed in before making them perhaps would bring out the herbs inside… also never gave the sauce for them….

The chicken bowl was quite good, this I can definitely say myself and my girlfriend enjoyed as we just shared the food and both mmm and mmm while eating the dish.

Potato croquettes 240₱ for 4 pieces and a small salad…

Chicken bowl ₱270 still a bit high for very very minimal meat and we all know rice is dirt cheap in the Philippines as are eggs.

TLDR

Go here if you are on a two week vacation and don’t care about being overcharged for not the best food just ok. If your a long term or...

First and foremost, staff were very rude - I was with my brother when we ate here, dinner time (di ata nila alam na kapatid ko kasama ko). Their staff's clothing kind of skimpy, I wouldn't mind it sana, kaso the way they treat male guests is more favorable than female guests, everytime one of my brother's order will arrive at our table staff would say "here's your order, Sir" in a flirty voice (not kidding, if the owner has a CCTV that could record such then you can review it - this happened May 21, 2025 at around 7 or 8 PM, I think). And everytime my brother would say his thanks they would respond in a flirty way again. Meanwhile, everytime my order arrived, lagay lang ng food ko sa table and everytime I would say my thanks, wala lang walk out lang mga staff. RUDE! Ang ending ako nagbayad ng food namin ng brother ko, edi shookt ang staff na I have my own money to pay.

FYI, my brother and I are both professional - a doctor and a lawyer, respectively, where we can pay for our own expenses/luho.

Pagod and gutom ka na nga looking for a resto where you can eat on your first day in Siquijor, tapos ganitong treatment lang dadatnan mo. NOPE.

Other than their rude and unprofessional treatment, food was exquisite. A bit pricy, but quality food naman.

Palitan niyo na lang...

I came here on my first day in Siquijor and became my place to go. The smoothie bowls are gorgeous so it's their presentation. I kept ordering the peanut butter one because it was delicious!!! It is also the best restaurant in town to have a proper, hot coffee and again the way they present it it's really cute. I also tried their matcha and it was good too. Hot and nicely done. When it comes to food, they didn't disappointed me either. I tried the shashuka, and although it has no the original recipe flavour that you expect, it was fine. The avocado toast with poached egg was also correct. The vegan satay noodles were very tasty, and I really enjoy them. Lastly, the staff here is the friendliest of the island. They are always happy to see you and they offer a fantastic customer service. The location is right on the main road of San Juan, a walking distance from the beach and other stores. I cannot recommend this place enough (specially for a smoothies, coffee and smoothie bowls). It was my comfort place to go. Thank you for an amazing food...

I seldom have to write really bad reviews. We ordered fresh fruit juice and specifically asked twice if there is only fresh fruit and water inside (as we dislike artificial juices). Our juice was literally made out of powder and to cover up they added some fresh calamansi inside - for 150 PHP or more, which is really disrespectful. Instead of just admitting this fact and apologizing for the misinformation, the waitress insisted on it being fresh until the cook clearly said the juice was made out of powder. Please inform your customers correctly so they can make the right decision. The tofu in two of our main dishes was so old we did not even dare to eat it and their best seller Buddha Bowl had such a sweet sauce it could compete with a desert... The only two good things were the poke bowl with tuna, which was really fresh and good as well as the ambiente. In sum, we can't recommend it based on our experience, hopefully you have a better one.
