Gubat Apartelle — Hotel in San Juan

I was very fortunate to get a room at Gubat Apartelle during high tourist season in San Juan Siquijor. The location was perfect for me in the heart of San Juan, close to the famous JJ's backpackers, famous for their huge beach parties, yet far enough away I could also relax. The unit's themselves are brand new and I believe I was the very first guest in apartment 1. Tha bathroom was spacious, clean and I really liked the rain drop show head. Also the shower has hot water. The bedroom/main room was spacious and the bed was firm but comfortable. The biggest feature in my opinion is the huge outside kitchen/sitting area with large refrigerator , sink and two burner gas stove complete with pots pans and utensils. I'm sure you could cook up a storm if you have those skills which I don't. I look forward to stay here again hopefully for a longer duration of...

Hi. I don't normally put reviews but this place exceeded my expectations.

After another place made a mistake with our booking and basically left us with out a place to stay we were manically looking for another place, unfortunately we were told it was high season so this was proving difficult.

The owners of this place came to our rescue, even though they were fully booked they were just finishing an additional room. After telling them of our situation they made arrangements to complete to final room to a standard that would be suitable to stay in. Not only that though because the room was not to the standard they were happy they to gave us a reduced rate.

Tbh we would of paid full price but the whole situation really shows that the owners really do care about there guests.

Really good value for money. Decent sized room, large bed, clean, and the bathroom’s awesome sized too, not to mention hot water. Really high standard for the price, and you get your own cooking facilities in the back if you want to cook. We didn’t use it as there’s a lot of nice restaurants and bars to eat and drink like RUMBAR and NAKABALO. Great location as well just in front of JJs which is pretty much the centre of San Juan, but far enough to be quiet and private. Honestly...
