I stayed their for 2 nights. When I first arrived I thought that the main building looked nice from the outside, but then after a few second I realized that the pool was completely green. The staff told us, that they were trying to fix the pool, but the day we left it was still not allowed to use it. Then we checked into our tiny little room, which was fine and clean, but our toilet couldn't flush 50% of times we tried. We had a fine stay in the beautiful area, and had 50 steps from our room to the beach. The staff helped us hire a tricycle driver to do an island tour.||Pros:|- lovely location (situated out to one of the better parts of the beach)|- a little decent breakfast was free of charge.|- the pool would have been lovely ||Cons:|- no service. If you want to order lunch, dinner or drinks; you usually have to go to the office since there's never someone in the restaurant. Half of the menu is not available and they don't have drinks such as coke for sale. Our rooms was cleaned during our stay.|- wifi was soooooo weak. It's only accessible around the pool, but you can't stream or load etc anything. We could sent a few text with family and friends.|- no toiletries|- dirty pool we couldn't use|- a lot of dark hairs on our floor when we checked in and a very dirty bathmat. ||It's such a shame. This hotel has the...
Read moreWe really enjoyed our stay in Siquijor and in One Sunset View Resort. The staff were super friendly, helpful & approachable (especially the lady/receptionist (I forgot the name). Room & bath were spacious with balcony/hallway. Pool was nice we enjoyed it. They serve basic menu for breakfast.||||However, no dining options for lunch and dinner. Worry not, as there is a walking distance strip of local restaurants that serves BBQs/Grilled and affordable Filipino dishes. ||||Wifi is a bit weak, only available in public area. But its OK, just go out and enjoy the island.||||Another concern during our stay was the beach ( which was not really the resort's fault). The property is beach front however it was not clear and not very inviting for swimming. It was great for walking and strolling. It has lots of dried(?) brown & green (sea) grass. Hopefully this condition is temporary as I saw some pictures posted here that it was clean and clear.||||Anyway the beautiful sunset view will...
Read moreI'm not sure why people are reviewing that the staff here are not nice and service is poor, when infact, the people here are very accommodating and friendly. They assisted me especially when I needed to buy something at the pharmacy. My orders and requests were accommodated. The staff are very pro-active. the last night of my stay, we experienced a blackout and the whole place is totally dark. The staff provided us with flashlight to use while waiting for the electricity to return.||||The place is very charming! I love how clean the beachfront and how beautiful the beach is. The sunset here is amazing, well, better than Paliton beach (more of this place in my other review). The place is quiet and very relaxing. I enjoyed Siquijor and I'm too sad that my stay was soooo short. I wanted to stay longer but I have other...
