We ate Phó Hòa yesterday after my parents got their booster shot at Xavier School. The only reason we went for this place was because it had a parking space. It was the first time we ate at this restaurant so we did not have any expectations.

The restaurant is tucked in a little nook along Wilson. It was surrounded by other Asian restaurants. I liked the ambiance of the restaurant immediately. The lighting was just right and there was no loud music playing. When we came in, a waitress approached as immediately, took note of our number and started arranging tables. When we were perusing the menu, she answered our questions immediately.

The food was brought out quickly. We waited around 10 or 15 minutes tops. We ordered the Seafood Crispy Noodles and Beef Brisket and Flank Phò. We ordered the large size of the phò so we can share with each other. It was supposed to be a snack so we didn't want anything heavy.

The crispy noodles was delicious. I love how the noodles stayed chewy and firm even after getting doused in sauce. Most crispy noodles I eat becomes soggy after a while. The phò was delicious! It was really savory. It smelled like bulalo at first but it was tastier. Both dishes received a two thumbs up from mg parents and sister, something thst doesn't usually happen.

The food and service were excellent. The parking space is an added bonus. This place is definitely highly...

You cannot go wrong with this place when hanging out with Friends until midnight.

Recommendations here are the Fresh/Fried Spring Rolls, any of their Beef Pho, Vermicelli Bowl, and their Mango Sticky Rice. Note that the large size of any of their pho could feed 2 people so ordering a regular size is enough if you ordered more than 1 dish for yourself.

You can also order from its neighboring restaurant, MyThai! It's a shame though that they used to have the Jack's Loft menu too, but sadly they closed down a number of years ago.

My downside here is with the Tom Yum soup of MyThai having too much lemongrass stalks that it's too much of a hassle to finish a whole bowl. Other dishes however are decent including the Crab cakes and the Pomelo Shake.

Service is also very good, but take note that parking can be a hassle when the place is filled with people. You'll be asked to constantly transfer your car when you're blocking another car from exiting. This does not take away points from the restaurant...

Food is in line with other Pho Hoa/My Thai branches. The rolls are always good, the grilled chicken and tofu dishes are also always good. I have eaten here a few times, had food delivered, and have gotten take out from here, and the food quality does not vary from one mode to another.

The service in the restaurant is superb, and I find that the staff is very attentive. The food comes out relatively quick, and I have never had to wait for food before during my many visits to this branch of Pho Hoa/My Thai

The dining experience inside is surprisingly comfortable. The restaurant is pretty compact, but the seats are positioned in a way where diners dont really disrupt the experience of other diners. I've never been bumped by a patron going to the bathroom, or forced to adjust my seat just so someone can pass through.

My #1 recommendation is to get the rolls, you just can't go...

It was raining when we went to Pho Hoa on Wilson. Probably because of the weather, it was easy for me to decide what to eat—noodle soup! 😅 I ordered the Noodle Soup (with steak, tendon, flank, and tripe). It was delicious! 😋 I only had the small portion, but it was still satisfying. I also appreciated the fresh bean sprouts, basil leaves, lemon, and chopped chilis (on request). For dessert, I had the mango crepe (single) with ice cream. I paired it with Vietnamese coffee, but I had to wait for the coffee to drip, and by the time it was finished, it wasn't hot anymore. 🤨
