Ramen Nagi - Greenhills — Restaurant in San Juan

Located at the ground floor of a parking bldg. We went here around 8pm, I'm not a fan of Greenhills area, I hate the traffic in the area and parking rates here have no weekend rates and the parking area is not well lighted. We were also suprised by the fact that there was not a single security guard on the doors of the parking bldg facing Ortigas ext.

The broth of the ramen was good but for me the noodle is not that good, mine was sticking together, something I really don't like. I have 2 companions with me, the oldest ordered a ramen with pork shoulder and the youngest and me ordered the one with pork belly. The pork belly taste good but both of us who ordered the ramen with pork belly was not able to sleep that night because of tummy ache and the youngest had LBM. I really cannot say that it's the Ramen but the oldest who got the ramen with pork shoulder did not experience the same discomfort. It's not our first time for Ramen Nagi, though the 1st branch we tried was in BGC and we did not experience the same tummy issues. All 3 of us ordered the Matcha Ice cream and it was very good.

The place was clean, every chair have a basket under to put your things in, since their tables as quite small. Their common restroom is clean. The staffs are polite...

No one attended to us. 1 just led us to our seat and left us. My companion after a few minutes of waiting stood up and got the menu and the staff was there but didn’t bother to give it to him. I asked one of the staff if we could order already and she said for awhile. Another staff came just gave the clipboard and left without saying anything. I called the attention of the same girl who said for awhile and she told me for awhile again. I said kanina pa ‘for awhile’ mo. And she called Jenzen to attend to us who was nice and attentive. Ramen Nagi stores are always very colorful. Both in their interiors and their food. This branch was very clean and organized. Even their restroom was spotless. The service was excellent. Sad to say, I just remembered why I haven't eaten in Nagi for quite some time. Food wasn't bad. It was just not that good. Karaage was bland. The flavor came from the lemon and the sauce. Even the edamame lacked taste. Their gyoza was too wet and soft. The red king was very red 😁. Noodels were good and firm but the broth just didn't do it for me.
