I like this place. We dined during Chinese New Year, and we were expecting the place to be full but it wasn't. I think because the location is in the middle of nowhere and the price range is similar to restaurants in Manila. The food was good though.
The fish fillet tofu tausi was delicious. They offered a few cuisines in the menu but we focused on the filipino side. We paired it with bagoong rice and kare kare and it complimented the overall combination of it.
The turon was meh. Maybe skip on that. It was burnt when it arrived and there's no sugar inside the fillings. It was just drizzled with caramel syrup outside. The ensaladang talong was meh as well.
We also ordered surf n turf, and I think the other one is called solo smoked bbq ribs. They also enjoyed that. The strawberry drink and iced coffee was milky. We wished it were strong.
Overall, we would come back here. The staff are kind and helpful. I like the ambiance as well, its Airconditioned.
They accept card payments...
Read moreProbably because of its location, Samuel’s Plate is usually not full. They have loads of menu options, which are so varied you’d probably satisfy your food cravings here.
They have rice meals, Filipino favorites, sandwiches, steaks, meaty dishes, pasta, cheesy starters, desserts, coffee, and more.
The staff’s attentive and pleasing. Perhaps, they could lower the prices a bit to match the quality of the food.
It is beside a mini supermarket. Parking spaces...
Read moreI was pleasantly surprised with how good the food is. Reasonably priced as well. Medallion steak was only 599 and was cooked at the doneness that I requested. Kulawong talong had a generous portion size for its price. There's a few parking slots available at the place. Con about this place is that the building is a little old and it shows. Atmosphere can be improved by doing a bit more renovations outside. Overall still a good place to dine out with...
