I hope this will caught the attention of Jaytee's management and owner in both branches in Tagaytay. Me and my friends decided to go to Tagaytay last Sunday Night to catch up and enjoy my remaining vacation in the Philippines. (26th November) Tagaytay was too crowded since the following day is a holiday. We came late around 11pm and first went to the branch near Robinsons . There is a big billboard of Jaytee that says its open 24/7, but when we reached the restaurant, they told us that its already cut off time. So we decided to go to the other branch near Taal Lake View hotel. The restaurant is so crowded and we understand that that its a busy period for them. We waited for like 10 mins to get a table, while waiting I noticed that the floor near the pasalubong area is so slippery due to very wet floor. I asked one of the lady staff who wear glasses to clean it but it was ignored. When we finally got the table and started to order, we were given only one menu and have to ask for another but only one was given and we are 4 people. Mostly all of the menu are not available. On my point of view, if you all know that its a long weekend and it will be crowded, you should have restock your kitchen more than the usual. At least there is still bulalo... The order took almost one hour! Nobody even check on us or even served water! We have to asked for pitcher! The glass are still wet and not sterilized! They did not even offer to pour the water into the glass. No spoon and fork was served, again we have to asked for it! We have to ask for everything to a point that I need to get the condiments in the other empty table. My sister approached the staff when we saw that the other table who came after us was already served and started their meal. It seems that they are only waiting for the bulalo. Why dont you ask us if you can serve the other dishes and possibly to follow the bulalo?! You let us starve and seating for almost one hour! No apologies from the staff! No customer service! If your customer are upset! Dont be upset too! Your servers showed in their actions and faces that they are upset too and not willing to do their job. They choose customers who to serve good or not! Lack of customer service! Lack of training in F&B! Your standard should be better than this because you are a known place in Tagaytay and maybe all over the Philippines. People are coming from different places just to try your food and the service is beyond terrible?! Don't say your open 24/7 if you can't commit on the timing! The bulalo that was served to us only have cabbage (whole cut only into half only) and beef, they realize later they forgot the bone marrow so they offeref it to us. Someone from your team should asked if its okay if the bulalo doesnt have all the ingredients! Its not an excuse that a lot of people came and you run out of stock! Again you should have anticipated that its holiday the next day! I know the work in this kind of industry is so tiring and exhausting but you must do the job right and especially with great customer service no matter what. My last visit in your restaurant was on Dec. 2021 and it was amazing! I don't know what changed and I guess Im not the only one who experience this but sadly nobody give a damn about it! Its very disappointing! I cannot recommend you anymore and can't think to visit you all again.

"IF YOU DON'T LIKE HIDDEN CHARGE, DON'T EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT" My family and I recently ate at this restaurant. It's been a while since we bond so we decided to try this restaurant, for our experience the prices of the food here was a bit expensive but my Dad don't mind since it's our family time. We've been checking the food on the menu card and I notice the prices are much higher than any other restaurants we've been, either way we continue because that's what my Dad decision. Even though the dishes were a bit expensive We've ordered few dishes for the four of us. When I'm about to eat I open my utensils then I saw my fork have a leftover grain of rice, I still handled it calmly and ask the waiter to change my fork. We proceed to eat. The food is fine and we enjoy the view of Taal while eating. Now here comes the problem, as we about to bill out, The waiter handed us the receipt based on my calculation and the bill it matches my Calculations which is 3,000php so my Dad handed the cash so we thought we're fine now. Few minutes later the Water came back telling us that they forgot to include the beverage we order which is Cucumber lemonade. So I begin to wonder was my calculation wrong? So I check my list then guess what? It's just right so I hold up my Dad for Paying then, the GOOD Waiter said that they Include the Service Charge to the first bill but NOT the Beverage? Who in the right mind would not include all of the order at once? And in SEPARATE RECEIPT? It's kinda disappointing because the worker at this Restaurant was dishonest they could've tell us that they have a service charge instead of lying by not including all of the bill at once. In the end, it's lesson learn for us that when we dine to a restaurant ask the staff first if they have Service Charge to be aware of it and so that no one would have to lie anymore. AND ALSO DON'T TRUST THE HAND WRITTEN RECEIPT BECAUSE THEY CAN CHANGED IT WHENEVER THEY WANT. SO DISAPPOINTING.

I recently dined at Jaytee’s Restaurant, and while there were a few aspects that left room for improvement, the overall experience was still enjoyable. One of the standout dishes at Jaytee’s is their sinigang na bulalo. It was absolutely delicious—perfectly tangy, rich, and flavorful. The tender beef, combined with the sour broth, was a comforting and satisfying treat, especially when paired with hot white rice. This dish alone is worth the visit, and I highly recommend it. Another dish worth highlighting is their lechon kawali, which tasted amazing. The crispy skin and juicy pork made for a delicious bite, and the seasoning was just right. However, the price is something to consider—₱600 for just a few slices of pork feels a bit steep, especially when considering the portion size and the quality relative to the cost. On the downside, their sisig was underwhelming. It was mediocre at best, lacking the punch and complexity that this dish typically brings. It didn’t leave a lasting impression, which was a bit disappointing given how popular the dish is in Filipino cuisine. Additionally, the tables at the restaurant were a bit of a turn-off, as they felt oily and sticky, which didn’t create the most pleasant dining environment. Despite these drawbacks, the view from the restaurant was absolutely stunning, offering a beautiful atmosphere that helped make up for the high prices and minor issues. When combined with the outstanding sinigang na bulalo, it made the experience worthwhile. Overall, Jaytee’s Restaurant offers some really great dishes, but the steep prices and a few service issues are worth considering. If you’re a fan of sinigang na bulalo and enjoy a scenic view, it’s definitely worth a visit.

First of all we were excited to try out Jaytees. We wanted to try their bulalo as what we've been doing everytime we went to Tagayatay, (try different bulalo restos). Also, I read good reviews from google about their food.

We were suppose to go to the new branch but ended up on their old branch (i think).

We were greeted properly. We requested to be seated on the veranda if there was any available table. "Ate" started to fix 2 tables on one side, however, for some reason, she was trying to arrange it in a way that one side of it was on the wall and the seating arrangement was somewhat of a U. The table legs were facing the chairs in a way where if one sits, his legs will hit the table. We were 7 by the way. What bothered me was the way she moved/acted like she didint want us to be there. Parang tinatamad or nagdadabog. I tried to correct the table arrangement wherein the tables were not leaning on the side whrein everyone can be seated around the table. Parang nainis pa si "Ate", so I just ask help sa mga kuya.

We are not "hard" customers but Ate really made us unwelcomed.

Finally, we were seated. We had our orders from kuya. While waiting, my daughter smelled something, then everyone on the table smelled it too. It smelled like sewage. We asked another Ate- who was more welcoming, about it. There was a steel door around a couple of meters behind us. It was their wash area according to her. We just requested to be reseated inside. I know we were not the only guests who complained about it because a few minutes when we were reseated, a family of four who had a reserved table outside, asked to be moved inside.

I was not in a good mood already because of all the restos we dined at in Tagaytay, they had a subpar customer service. But, still I was willing to give their food a chance.

The ONLY brightside of our experience was the food. Their bulalo was good and had a good portion of meat. We've been around checking out different bulalo spots in Tagaytay and they are a little bit better than other restos we tried. Sisig was also good and so was their pancit apart from it coming out a little bit late.

In conclusion, I think we'll be back at Jaytees to check out their other menu offering, just not this branch.

PS: Im not keen on doing comments, but while I was seated earlier and waiting for our food, I kept telling myself I...
