A Warning To All Planning to Dine in LZM Restaurant-Silang, Branch: Last October 23, 2016, my family including my 6 year old daughter dined in LZM restaurant in Silang, Cavite along Aguinaldo Hi-way. Out of poor judgment, we drank their service water. Two days later, October 25, 2016, my daughter, husband, brother in law, myself and two other friends started having LBMs and fever. We started taking meds for diarrhea thinking it wasn't that serious. I ruled out amoebiasis because it was not the first time we dined there-But at the back of my mind, I had that inclination. I was just in denial knowing how scary and permanent amoebiasis is. Later I realized that while it was not our first time to eat out in LZM, it was the first time we didn't buy bottled waters and my worst fear materialized when Friday, October 28, my husband had his fecalysis and diagnosis was intestinal amoebiasis. I immediately brought my child to the hospital and have her checked even though I was weak myself for days of non-stop LBM. She stayed there for four days. We shelled out almost P40k including the meds for all of us. I would have remained silent but now she's having LBMs again and this propelled me to act. What if there are some people out there who would be victimized just because I kept silent and just accepted our fate? Selfishly, my priority right now is having her checked to avoid any dehydration and probably, another round of 40-k worth of treatment. Still I took time to share this to give warning that if you ever dine in this place, refrain from using their service water-it's contaminated. My family has to pay the price of being an amoeba carrier all her life because of this poor exercise of judgment from us. Above all these chaos, I'm still grateful because for my 2 year old boy, though I fed him some food from LZM; blessedly I ordered bottled water for him and for my 60 yr old mother in law. In truth, they are the only ones not affected. I'm sending this us a caveat to unsuspecting diners out there who intend to have a mere lovely bonding with their family or friends to stay clear of their contaminated liquid. Let me emphasize that I have no desire of besmirching whatever reputation LZM has. And if they happen to chance this post, once and for all, do something about this. After all there's a great chance they're using that same water for their soups and other sauce/liquid-based viands. I'm also encouraring those who were affected like us to speak up and be the trigger to make LZM management arrests this issue and hinder any untoward incident like what happened to us who were only hoping to have a nice meal and bonding after Church service but unfortunately, experience a traumatic incident which will not only impact us one time but will haunt us for eternity. LZM management, for the last time, please do...

Read moreOur family's favorite restaurant in Tagaytay. Not so expensive like other high end restaurants. But the food here is superb. "Sulit" as we say. I would highly recommend to try their Kare-kare and Bulalo. It is more special when dining with the family or group of friends for it is good for 4-6 persons.
The place is not as classy as others. Facilities can still be improved especially the restrooms.
Service is ok. Nice and kind staffs. Preparation time for food is fine, more or less 30 to 45 minutes.
Parking can be difficult during weekends. And also expect heavy traffic on weekends and holidays for Tagaytay is a hot-spot for...
