Cafe Mary Grace - Venice Grand Canal Mall — Restaurant in Taguig

I cannot express how mediocre my experience was from this branch. I had my coffee break here with a friend and we paid almost about 600 pesos for a coffee and a cake. And almost all the cakes i asked to order were unavailable (there were only 3 you can choose from out of many).

The service is poor. It takes forever to catch anyone's attention. And even if they eventually acknowledge you calling them, they dont come right away until they froget to come at all. I understand the place can be a bit busy but for the price of the food, i expected a bit more from them.

I also noticed a small cockroach on the table that made it's way to my glass.

I've been significantly coming less and less to Mary Grace and with this recent experience, it's safe to say I would not be...

As a first timer, it was hard to locate the store inside the mall. I wish there's more information about its location. However, I had a great dining experience.

We ordered their signature Mary Grace Tandem which is the ensaymada (both classic and grilled) paired with hot chocolate. I can see why it is a best-selling, the chocolate is very chocolate-y and it is so good with ensaymada. We also tried their Banana Bella. We were hesitant at first but it tasted good! Not so sweet, just the right flavor.

Their customer service was good also. We came in during rush hours, around 11 AM, and they were very accommodating especially Kuya Kiel and Kuya Roger.

Will surely come again...

We went in there for a lunch, there was almost no one else there...yet just to order soup took almost 20mins, I had to ask them if the soup was ready and only then did they bring it and the waiting staff didn't check up on us if we were ready to order at any moment even after giving the soup. Yes there was a bell to "call them" but there were literally 2 other people dining so the atmosphere felt like we weren't important or existed. Maybe this is just the way it is here but you're serving both FIL and Foreigners so i guess I assumed different style of service.

But the mushroom soup and ice mocha was good but we ended up cutting our lunch short and left from...
