Lumpiang Shanghai Crispy and golden brown, served with a sweet and sour sauce that could use a bit more punch. The filling has a slight aftertaste, but overall still enjoyable.
Vegetable Kare-Kare The peanut sauce is thick, rich, and flavorful — just the way kare-kare should be. The bagoong pairs well with the sauce, while the half-cooked vegetables add the right bite and freshness to the dish.
Lechon Kawali The meat is soft and tender, but unfortunately it lacks the iconic crispy pork skin. It would have been better with a thicker, crackling layer to complete the lechon kawali experience.
Sizzling Tofu (Free with a ₱1,000 minimum order using a Pag-IBIG Loyalty Card) A standout dish. Served hot and soft, the creamy mayo-based sauce adds a delicious twist. One of the best versions of sizzling tofu we’ve tried.

So I was waiting for the menu and here she comes throwing it to the table I front of me. OMG, I can’t believe it. I’m saying she threw it because the menu slides on the table instead of handing it to me. So I took a deep breath and in a calm manner I said, I’m sorry miss I don’t like this and I don’t like your service and went out the restaurant. So disappointing!! I’ve never experienced that kind of service to any other Max’s store. I hope you give more time in training your crew. It’s really...
Read moreI like the Max's Restaurant in Venice. The restaurant occupies two floors facing the beautiful replica of grand canal glimmering with its turquoise water. We dined on the second floor overlooking the canal. The place also offers outside seats for an open and closer dining experience with the Grand Canal. The place has great lighting and the crews were respectfully engaging. There were instances though when the people in the kitchen spoke too loudly with each other.
