Peri-Peri Charcoal Chicken Venice Grand Canal Mall — Restaurant in Taguig

We dine here before when they're just newly opened and had a great experience so I'm disappointed that they wasn't able to maintain their good service. We dine here on a Sunday lunch but only few tables were occupied. Their is one big group, probably 10 pax on one table, but they are already eating when we arrive. No host managing the seat/table upon entry. We ordered but were not asked for our preferred sauce. Waited for more than 30 mins for our order of half chicken with rice and one pasta just to receive COLD food. We requested that our chicken should be chopped in two, but we received it unchopped. We still need to request for the SAUCE, spoon and fork. Server needs to train how to properly serve plates and not to slide it on the table. Requested the bill before we even finished our food to ensure they would process it ahead. After eating, still no bill came, and my husband still needs to go directly to the counter as there is no server available to follow up. They just started processing our bill. They are understaffed. I only see 1 lady cleaning the tables 1 server and I think two waiters. If the restaurant is understaffed, they should manage that the customer they will accept will only be at...

On October 15, 2022, me and my girlfriend ate at one of your branches at the McKinley/Venice Grand Canal Mall branch. Our bill was 2,655.00. We use a debit card to pay the bill. However, they charge us 26,550.00. We can provide all receipts and documents. The Manager and the waitress apologized and promised that it would be reversed within the next 3 business days because it was weekend at that time. Days passed without anything, and the manager didn't have the initiative to report or to update us on what the situation was. If we haven't called her, she will not update us with any status on the refund. On October 18, 2022, we called again and the manager said that it was being processed or already submitted to the main office and that it would take only 7 business days. What we don't like is the NO UPDATES provided to us, and we need that money for our daily expenses. Poor customer service and after the refund, we will never eat at your establishment again. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. It's modern and open with plenty of seating. They also have a sauce bar with many various sauces. Unfortunately, I didn't find the sauces that tasty.

I ordered the peri peri chicken plate b with quarter chicken and 2 sides. For the sides, I chose tortilla and salsa and mashed potatoes.

The chicken was good. It's not as juicy as El Pollo Loco but the flavor of the chicken is better. I wish they give you the choice of whether you want the white meat quarter or dark meat quarter. I prefer dark meat but ended up with the white meat.

The tortilla and salsa was also good. The tortilla is toasted so it's crunchy and the salsa tasted fresh.

However, the mashed potatoes were just terrible. It was dry and the texture was like thick paste. It tasted buttery but I'm not sure why the twzture was smooth and creamy. Avoid this.

The Java rice was so so. It was flavorful but cold and clumpy.

Service was very friendly.
