TGI Friday's — Restaurant in Taguig

TGIF VENICE MALL: The staff are lazy. The food is not at par with all the other TGIF branches we have been. TGIF is a family favorite. This TGIF at Venice Mall failed in all aspects. The Filipino Liempo slices are very thin and small. So it seemed that in addition to the lazy staff (note that we had lunch at around 2:30 pm already so the place is almost empty), the food portions are smaller and not as good tasting as the foods are in other TGIF branches. I asked for seasoning or soy sauce, and both are not available. We ordered 3 kinds of desserts. Two kinds were consumed already but the third kind has not arrived yet so a follow-up had to be done again. Note that we always have to stand and get out of our seats to get the attention of the staff who are not immediately seen, inside an area that is almost empty. After eating, three more will arrived so I requested for the table to be cleaned and three more sets of plates and spoons and water be ready. Somebody went to the table to clean a bit and never came back. So I ended up cleaning the table so that the table will not look messy to the incoming guests. When I am done wiping the table and moving the glasses to one end of the table, somebody finally arrived to do the cleaning of the table. Note that I exaggerated the use of the tissues to clean the table and the lazy staff said let her do it, but she never did, so I just continued cleaning the table. Nobody as in nobody ever cleaned the table with wet rug so I just got all the tissue paper I can get from the other tables so I can clean the table. Up until the new guests were done eating, no water arrived. That has to be followed up over and over again. We had to request for a bucket of ice because water served is not that cold. It was also my grand daughter's birthday so we wanted her to experience the traditional birthday singing and supposed to be warm and happy birthday greetings, but nobody from the lazy staff ever did any greeting. An ice cream with candle was provided, and the lazy staff just left. Well. Just when you think you have been in the best TGI Friday's you come to Venice Mall and find a Unique TGI Fridays. I think the ambience is attributed to partly the excellence of TGI and partly the most unique mall in the Philippines which is Venice Mall. As far as I know, there are only two places with italian venitian architecture but here at Venice Mall a Gondola ride being sung to by a filipino in italian opera can only add a quent essential charm to TGI Fridays here that no other TGI Fridays has so on that note and the interior decor is well thought out and is a themed restaurant at TGI venice mall. I am personally impressed inside no less what is on the outside. I had a 1 litre pint of pilsen which for a european is quite normal followed by a personal request which Rence did, which he made me a uk size mug of cappuchino and its was pretty tasty too; twice the standard size and of course i paid the extra but Rence did not refuse my request which is a sign of good customer service but i was made to feel welcome too. All in all my visit to this TGI Fridays was memorable.

Need not to further promote TGI Fridays because it is a given that they have really good food.

I am giving them a 5 star because last Sunday my family and I had dinner at Fridays at the Venice Grand Canal Mall in Mckinley Hill. My son, as his usual adorable self was playinh with his toys and wasn't paying much attention with food. He's 3 years old and he's playing with his new Finding Nemo toy's while the rest of us were earting. We did not notice that he was dropping his toys behind the couch where we were seated. The couch is huge and it appeared to be pasted on the wall so it was impossible to move it and get the toy's.

We were prepared to leave and told my family that I'll let the manager know that I will comeback for the toys but they insisted to get these toys which they did. 3 Waiters and the Manager helped each other to move the couch for them to get my son's Toys.

Hands down yo these guys and will definitely comeback to dine again. This was customer service at...
