Taweng's Batchoy — Restaurant in Tagum

We went there at around 6:30 PM and there was only one table occupied other than ours. I ordered the special batchoy worth P100 pesos. What was served to me wasn't really hot, not even hot enough to fully cook the fresh egg that came with it (egg white was still slimy when I finished). I wasn't able to take a photo of it but I really did not expect that the "special" batchoy would just look like that - only topped with thin strips of liver without the big chunks of chicharon as seen in their facebook photos. I grew up eating at this restaurant. I love their puto and dinuguan, best time to go there during afternoon to have your pinoy merienda, however the taste of the foods lately became bland. Their batchoy is not steaming hot when being served to you, their noodle dishes are also bland. The last time I went there, I had their palabok and washed it down with their halo-halo. We ordered special batchoy for 90ish and bistek with rice. First, The menu is very expensive. Second, the flavor is disgusting, too salty for the batchoy its not even worth to buy for. 3rd, there staff is very redundant keep on asking addition. They don't have any commonsense.
