LUFT — Restaurant in Bydgoszcz

An experience at LUFT feels like you've won the lottery! The setup is genius, and decor is is something like cottagecore meets steampunk. Lawn chairs and small tables give customers a chance to sit down and relax. Warm candles and colorful flowers transform this corner in the city into an urban garden. It's kind of amazing how much peace you can achieve with the right vibe and LUFT nails it. My aunt ordered an americano and a piece of orange cheesecake; I ordered an iced lavender latte and Japanese shu cream. My aunt thoroughly enjoyed her americano. My iced lavender was delicious with a subtle hint of lavender. There's quite a nice variety for such a small locale. I was also interested in the coconut latte, but that will have to wait. We halved each dessert so we could try both. The orange cheesecake, served on a popsicle stick with a small bow and candied orange peel, was perfection. It was zesty and creamy, more like a NY cheesecake than a traditional Polish one. Flavor surprise: there was orange gelée layer as well! The frosting was citrusy and sweet, and the buttery crust was also super tasty. Next up: Japanese shu cream, which is similar to a cream puff. The pastry was ideally baked, slightly crispy and chewy, and the cream was velvelty and luxurious. The decoration was intricate and lovely, complete with gold leaf. I was delighted by the uniqueness and mastery of the desserts. The young barista was friendly and happy to answer questions for us....

I have two experiences. Yesterday morning was OK, I got decent batch brew. However, today was different. They are supposed to open at 7:30 but it was closed at that time. They came few mins later but I honestly don't want to get the first shot of espresso or wait 10 mins for batch brew. Tłusty czwartek, ulubione święto wielu polaków, które zdarza się raz na rok!!! z tej okazji chciałem kupić sobie pączka pistacjowego z malinami, ponieważ jestem wielkim fanem pistacji. Moja żona kupiła pączka z malina-róża. Pączek pistacjowy był bez żadnych malin!!!! Pistacjowe nadzienie smakowało jak rozwodniony krem, a samo ciasto było suche i po prostu niedobre. Kawiarnia próbowała chyba zatuszować smak ogromną ilością cukru, którym pączek został posypany. Natomiast pączek z maliną i różą nie miał praktycznie żadnego nadzienia, z ciastem to samo co w poprzednim. I jaka może być cena takiej przyjemności?? 5zl?? NIE 15zl za...
