OMNI KAISER Patisserie — Restaurant in Gdynia

This place, with its impressive interior and narrow focus on sweets, intrigued me. However, my initial experience with their desserts left me wanting more. The macarons, while visually appealing, were placed on top of a cream base, which made their texture unexpectedly chewy and wet—this unusual approach didn’t work for me. On the other hand, the honey cake was a straightforward honey cake (but still looks awesome).

On a brighter note, I did savor a delightful tea from a prestigious French brand. Despite my initial disappointment, I’m still open to trying more desserts from their menu, hope that I just was unlucky with the choice. As it was last...

Kaiser is the 'new kid on the block' in the urban heart of Gdynia, and it rapidly became a personal fav! Immaculate multilingual service, chic contemporary décor that pays beautiful homage to Gdynia's art deco roots, and pastries to die for! I keep returning for the consistently excellent coffee, and a relaxing ambience for socialising, reading, or mobile office pursuits. Recommended: the dark chocolate sorbet (gelato), and Ciasto Miodownik (Honey Cake), and... I could go on, but you get the idea. This place is a 'must' for locals...

Poprosiłem o kawę espresso. Znam się na kawach, więc myślałem, że kelnerka(sama od siebie )troszkę opowie o kawie, którą będzie serwować. Niestety, musiałem dopytywać się o gramaturę, uzysk, etc. Na dodatek Pani kelnerka powiedziała, że espresso będzie z 18 gram. Nie myślała tylko, że będę ciekawy i przyjrzę się mlynkowi. Zauważyłem ustawienie 17.8 Niby żadna różnica, ale dla konesera kawy, to dużo. I przede wszystkim Pani kelnerka nie powiedziała mi prawdy, tak "dla oka" zaokrągliła gramaturę, bo może myślała że ma do czynienia z klientem który nie zna się na kawie. I tu jej zdziwienie. Szkoda, bo byłem pierwszy raz w tym lokalu. Wiązałem nadzieje. Niestety, w momencie wprowadzenia klienta w błąd, lokal traci w moich oczach. Choć kawa ostatecznie była całkiem poprawna. Dla mnie za dużo wody podczas ekstrakcji. Myślałem że padnie pytanie że strony obsługi: "czy mniej wody?". W renomowanych kawiarniach, certyfikowani barisci pytają się o to klientów....
