Good & One — Restaurant in Karpacz

As a Belgian, I was thrilled to find a menu featuring Belgian beers and dishes. Naturally, I had to give it a try.

The beer selection is fantastic, offering a wide variety to choose from, including Grimbergen on tap. For those who enjoy sampling high-quality beers, this place is a must-visit.

I ordered "The Good Burger" and was pleasantly surprised to find it topped with "Bicky sauce," a unique condiment that's hard to find outside Belgium. The burger itself was delicious and very satisfying.

The fries had a slightly different taste compared to those in Belgium, due to the use of Polish potatoes, but the preparation method was spot on. They had the perfect crispiness, color, and tenderness.

With a Belgian chef at the helm, it's no wonder the cuisine here stays true to its roots. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to enjoy the delightful flavors of Belgian dishes and beers. 🇧🇪🇵🇱

The restaurant is very nice and in a nice environment unfortunately this is where the nice ends. I am forced to give two stars because at least one of the two dishes we liked (spaghetti agio olio). The service was very nice and promising at the beginning and then a complete disaster after waiting half an hour from the time we ordered our appetizer and only then about 10-15 min later we got our drinks, while we ordered the food, appetizer and drinks together. When they brought our main course they forgot to bring our cutlery and my friend had to go and get his own cutlery, although other guests were given cutlery in a special bag. The food and the position of the restaurant are very promising but spoiled by the human factor of the people...

W Karpaczu spędziłam 5 dni i tyle razy odwiedziłam Good&One. Zacznę od miejsca, prawie w centrum, a jednak nieco obok chałasu, turystów i zamętu więc można zjeść w ciszy i spokoju. Obsługa jest przemiła, uprzejma, świetnie potrafi doradzić. Menu... no i tu petarda, większość dań można skosztować wersji standardowej, jak i tapas (zazwyczaj to ok. połowa klasycznej porcji). Idealna opcja na mniejszy głód, mały brzuszek, czy brak decyzyjności (można wziąć kilka dań na raz tyle, że w mniejszej formie). Genialne rozwiązanie! Dania, no tu jest różnorodnie, czego zazwyczaj się boję, ale niepotrzebnie. Dania, czy to klasyki kuchni polskiej, czy inne smakują świetnie (choć przydałoby się odrobinę więcej soli 😉). Fish burger (tak dobry, że jako jedyny nie zdążył załapać się na zdjęcie) to pyszna ryba z genialnym sosem z kaparami. Połączenie smaków jest doskonałe. Sea papillot (łosoś i troć wraz z krewetkami pieczone w papilocie) to poezja. Szef kuchni umie w ryby! Są soczyste, pełne smaku, miękkie i aż chce się więcej. Spaghetti a'la vongole w smaku rewelacja. Włosi do makaronów z rybami i owocami morza nie dają sera, to można by zmienić ale ogólnie smakuje to wybornie. Stek z sosem jest przyzwoity. Bardzo ciekawe frytki wiechlinowe, cieniutkie, chrupiące, znowu coś na mniejszy głodek. Polskie specjały, jak pierogi (no prawie, jak u mamy) i kwaśnica... OMG! Rewelacja pełna kapusty, grzybków, no pyszności. Drinki 0% smakowite i idealne na upały. Uważajcie na limoncello spritz, po dwóch łykach świat zaczyna lekko szumieć 😉 Aż żal, że to koniec kulinarnej podróży po menu. Mam nadzieję, że jeszcze wrócę do Karpacza po kolejne szczyty i kolejne...
