On August 18th, my husband, daughter, and I visited the pub. It’s important to note that this wasn’t our first visit; we live nearby and frequently have dinner there. One of the main reasons we choose this pub is the children's play area, which allows us to enjoy our meal while our daughter, who is nearly three, plays close by. Typically, one of us stays with her in the play area while the other eats.
This time, however, as I attempted to enter the play area, an unfriendly and rather rude waiter informed me that adults were not allowed inside. I was completely shocked. We’ve visited the pub many times before, and no one has ever mentioned this rule. I tried to explain how strange this seemed, especially since it could be unsafe to leave such young children unsupervised. The waiter, however, refused to listen or explain why the rules had changed, simply stating that it was part of their "regulations." Another waiter then joined the conversation, insisting that both my child and I needed to be wearing socks to enter the play area. I was again shocked because we were both already wearing socks. Meanwhile, two other children, one under three years old (despite the pub's rule that children under three are not allowed in the play area), were inside without socks.
As we were trying to understand these inconsistencies in the rules, my daughter, familiar with the play area, went inside. A young boy, who was under three, tried to push her off the slide. Thankfully, I intervened just in time. Both waiters witnessed this incident, yet nothing was done. At that point, we decided to leave and will not be returning never.
I’m leaving this review here in hopes of getting an explanation from the management. What was going on? Do different waiters enforce different rules?
Do you allow some guests to break the rules while strictly enforcing them on others?
If one child hurts another inside the playground (3 years old babies are dangerous to be left alone), since parents are not allowed to be inside to supervise, who will be held responsible for this?
Do not recommend visiting the pub if you have a baby and do not like to leave...
Read moreWorst customer service , they were totally like racist , I don't know what was their problems , was it miscommunication between staff or was it intentionally ? I think it was intentionally because of what we experienced, we gave order and they told us it'll be around 25 mins , we wanted to sit on the another floor but one waitress told us they don't have table for 5 person on that floor but when my friend went to Washroom he asked whether we can change table , she replied her we only have to inform waitress who's handling our order so we were going upstairs and one lady probably Manager she told us it's reserved for family , it was really bad like we're going here and there , so we cancelled our order and walked out , later the waitress come and ask us to come back and telling us that we can go and sit there , like now they don't have reservations ? And what on earth person with dignity would go back to place like this ?later she started threatening us that she'll call security etc , instead of apologizing for Thier behaviour she's threatening us , like really really bad service, we told her ok we 're here ,later we ate pizaa at dominium opposite of their restaurant and guess what no one come . These kind of people and places makes really bad impressions on foreigners about local people .
Edit : one of my friend she was really excited to eat here ,even we almost went to another restaurant but to visit this restaurant was postponed every time and so she convinced us to eat here today and we finally went , and it was horrible experience,we felt really bad because of experience we had ,we would not recommend it to anyone, I wish God gives straight to the restaurant and people like these to grow...

Having been a few years since last visiting Jeff's due to a bad experience, thought would check it out to see what had changed. Not much... good for some things, bad for others. For instance the wait to be seated idea is irritating. You cannot just pick a table, and bunches of tables are reserved, but you wont see them occupied during your visit. I don't understand why a tray of 20 odd low quality dips are provided with meals... 2 or 3 plus a ketchup and hot sauce is ample. Food quality is really average, whether it is worth the price may depend on the individual, however broccoli and bell peppers served practically raw definitley sticks in the mind. It also just happened to be on my visit, the card payment system was down, so... in a city which is groing evermore cashless,nI had to trapse around the shopping centre to withdraw cash, catefully finding a machine which didn't resort to extortion for my withdrawal. 15 minutes later getting back to my seat, 30 mins into our Jeff's expedition, still no food. You can expect quite a wait for your meal. On the plus side, the staff do seem fairly friendly, the live band playing is also a nice touch, and a small kids playing area upstairs earn the place a couple more stars than the general experience and food...
