Tried once and it was the last time!
We went today (10/04/2025) at around 18:45 PM.
The place was pretty busy, but it felt like half of the people coming in and going out were food delivery drivers, which was quite annoying: with their huge bags knocking against people + they got served first, yes, fair hey?
The word EXPRESS is lid up in huge letters (see picture), so we thought 'HA, that will be fast, we'll be home in a jiffy' "LOUD WRONG BUZZER" What EXPRESS? What does this EXPRESS refer to? The speed of service, if that is the case, that sign must be a sarcastic joke. We waited for nearly 45 minutes, that's FORTY FIVE minutes, for 3 different 'meals' (more on that below).
Once back home we discovered that we were charged for 2 x crispy french fries ... but we cannot confirm if they were crispy because THERE WERE NO FRIES! And we had 2 medium normal Cola's and 1 Zero Cola and for some reason 2 of these were 1,60 zl each and one was 3,00 zl .... does Zero cost nearly double, don't think so, so WHY this price difference?
Ah, and they charge for packaging, which is fine as it is bio degradable packaging (which is good) but, they charge it separately on the receipt WHY? STOP complicating your employees work, add it to the total costs of a meal, EVERYONE NEEDS THEIR FOOD PACKED, or is there an option to get it without packaging and it's just handed over to you like: "Sir, here are your fries, hold out your left hand, and here is your burger, hold out your right hand, enjoy!'? Probably not. P.s. is there a normal (not express) line, those people are probably still standing in line until tomorrow then ;)
OK, to end it of with a little positivity ... the food (that we actually had) was very tasty and fresh, the vegetables were very crispy sighs I wish I could say the same from the invisible fries ....
Despite the tasty food, it is not worth standing in line for for that long while seeing others being served first and finding out that part of what you paid for was...
Read moreTo preface this is for the Krakow branch of max burgers in Wroclaw the experience was five stars. In Gdansk I became sick after eating their burger. I've also been to this Krakow branch 6 times. I really wanted to like max burgers but unfortunately it's terrible. I'll start with the only positive. Fries are amazing
However...
The burgers in this branch are awful I'd prefer a big Mac and thats saying something. They somehow taste less of beef than a big Mac and the whole thing is soggy small and not reflective of the advertisement material.
The breakfast is underwhelming and the coffee is worse than all fast food cafe competition
Also two more things I find irritating is that there is only one bin. I have to queue to throw away packaging and finally they never include the napkin on the tray. Instead we have to remember to walk 5m away from the pickup point and pick a napkin up. I always forget to do this as all other fast food restaurants include the napkin...
Read moreAVOID AT ALL COSTS. We have been three times and do not recommend. The first time was opening day so we expected things to not be perfect. We tried again a month ago and the food was so cold we needed to get them to remake it. The remake was better but still not considered great. Went a third time today because my son really wanted to go. This time they made my VEGAN burger with a real meat patty. Also, they forgot to add a childs burger to the bag. When I took a bite and realized it was real meat they exchanged it, but the resulting burger was inedible (hard, old and overcooked). My daughters small child chicken burger was so hard she refused to eat it. for the price you would expect so much better than this. One other item, the second time we ate there I ordered a vegan burger (meal) and it gives you the option to add bacon. So, being it was their VEGAN MEAL, I assumed it was fake bacon - NO!!!!! Beware vegans eating...
