Disappointing Experience – Poor Service and Food
We visited this restaurant because the atmosphere and food looked very appealing in the pictures. Unfortunately, our expectations were not met.
At first, we didn’t realize that the restaurant’s concept was to share dishes. No one explained this to us when we arrived or when we got the menus. We only found out when we asked if our dishes could be served together as a starter and main course. The waitress then told us that it wasn’t possible because of the sharing concept. That was okay for us, but it should have been explained from the beginning.
The dishes came one by one, without any explanation. Since we ordered several main courses, we didn’t know which dish was which. The waitress placed the plates carelessly on the edge of the table instead of in the middle. It felt like she wasn’t paying attention – especially since the restaurant was almost empty.
The service was very disappointing. The waitress seemed uninterested, barely spoke to us, and didn’t explain anything about the food or concept. When we gave feedback about a dish later, she didn’t respond at all – no questions, no comments, nothing.
About the food: the idea of modern interpretations is interesting, but the execution was poor. The pierogi with salmon filling were not good – the dough was hard, and the filling was dry. The cream foam was okay, and the beetroot was fine, but way too sweet. Another main dish was bland, although the zucchini was well cooked and tasty.
Overall, it felt like the restaurant wanted to offer a fine-dining experience, but both the service and food lacked quality and attention to detail.
We would not come back and regret not choosing the traditional Polish restaurant...
Read moreWe gave this place another try and better haven’t done it cause the second impression was much worse. It’s pity that the restaurant with such fashionable interior spoiled with bad food and service. Firstly we were there for breakfast and among 3 different plates only one tasted like “ok, I can return for this again”, it was the sandwich with cheese, jam and some herbs. Coffee (filter) is also ok. We went there today again for dinner and it felt like fail after fail. Firstly, you need to know that there are only 3 meat option - striploin, duck and pate. Only after 15 min when we were ready to make an order, a waiter said that there are no meat today except for pate. Why did she not say that when bring the menu? Then (actually, we noticed that during the first visit too), when someone orders wine, a waiter forgets about other people at the table at all. Like why they can’t write down all positions and then bring wine to try, is there some instruction or what? We don’t understand why we paid for the service, except the fact that there were 5 of us. The food is below the average, honestly. If you want to make people fall in love with all of this labneh-vegetables-healthy story, it should have some taste. One by one: pate - too fatty, brioche is so oily, tastes bad shrimps - ok, but salsify is tasteless, the sauce is very vinegar potatoes - ok, but carrot makes the taste cheaper and similar to roasted vegetables for soup Actually, the Honey Whiskey is perfect, truly the best sour we...

As for the menu, the dishes are generally satisfying, with fresh ingredients and thoughtful presentation. However, I must point out the spinach salad with seeds—it’s a decent dish, but it could benefit from a touch of innovation to elevate the flavors and textures. That said, the seeds themselves were fresh and added a nice crunch to the salad.
Overall, Orsi is a solid choice for a dining experience that combines great service, an appealing atmosphere, and good food, with just a bit of room for improvement on...
