Dogs are allowed. This is huge advantage for me and extremely favorable. Just this bumps up my review score. But there's more! There is menu for dogs! If you are lucky, your dog can be well fed for free! Mine was and I cannot appreciate dog hospitality enough.
My score is quite high at this point but let's move on to food for humen. What can I say other than it's delicious! Obviously the cuisine is completely far off from what we are used to. I was fully aware what I was getting into. I hadn't had huge expectations but I was amazed and delighted. Tonkotsu ramen is amazing! I know how difficult it is to make it so I went there to have a taste. This soup or I'd say a dish in a bowl is a flavor bomb! It's extremely filling. If you look at the price it may seem expensive "just for a soup" but you'll soon realize this is all you can handle and will not order more. You won't need to. Girlfriend ordered miso soup and it is also something waaay different yet equally filling. I cannot grade higher than 5 stars but I would give 6/5 because dog treatment is exceptional.
If it comes to the interior design, nothing stood out. It is Asian/Japanese themed restaurant but really tamed one. I think I didn't pay much attention to the furnishing because I was focused on the food. I will admit it's clean and tidy. The layout allows people to walk freely, even if the place is crowded. Well, it's always crowded. A line had already formed before opening. We were fortunate enough and didn't wait for long. I don't think you would wait long though. They call people in to have good control of the tables and I assume to plan out. Anyways, I do not dunk points for "crowdiness" even though I hate crowds. I understand there will always be a crowd if they serve good food and this is what...

I’ve been to Ramen People on Karmelicka previously and it was nice, so next time i decided to visit this one.
I ordered “tsukemen” ramen, it was my first meal of the day. The ramen was tasty, but i tried it for the first time so not sure whether it tasted like it normally should.
Around 25-40 minutes after i left the place, i started to feel bad: extreme stomachache, sick feeling (desire to vomit), cold sweat came out like i was standing in a shower, my sight started to get worse and worse, so much so that i couldn’t see almost anything, it was just dark. I had a hard time standing or walking and felt like i’m about to pass away. This lasted for almost an hour, then medicine kicked in and i felt some sort of relief.
A truly unforgettable experience, never felt anything like that in my life.
If you are trying to get poisoned - definitely should visit here.
I’m not from Poland, and i’m not here for long, otherwise would go straight to the court.
Also, I just went through the reviews and there were at least 4 more reviews where people complain about feeling bad, puking, having diarrhea or other health problems.
In return, the personnel of Ramen People just gaslights people saying they are putting so much effort in product quality that what people say is impossible and they might have eaten something else elsewhere… Since when such behavior is acceptable or even legal?...
Read moreFor a European ramen place, it's pretty decent. It is styled and flavoured for the European palate (blander, less spice/heat) rather than authentic Asian, but considering how difficult it is to find good Asian food of any kind in Europe as a whole, this spot is pretty good.
It did not amaze me, but it was standard ramen. The flavour I got was not particularly close to the proper stuff and was lacking in the full complexity, but it was better than some other dandan noodles (tantanmen) I've had. Yuzu lemonade wasn't that good, but it was fine for an accompaniment for the hot noodles. I wouldn't get it on its own.
Noodles were cooked properly and the dishes were presented very nicely. There is obviously a lot of effort put in to trying to get it right, which I appreciate.
My main complaint was the extreme waiting time. Ramen should never take so long to make that it takes 1/3 of the time to eat it that it takes to arrive at the table. We waited forever. Over 30 min and the restaurant was only half full.
Service was indifferent and absent for the most part. Typical Poland, imo. Nothing terrible.
It got quite busy by the time we left and a queue was starting to form, which shows what a high demand there is in the city for quality Asian noodle dishes for fair prices. There aren't a lot of options here so it was worth the walk from the...
