3 small soy sauce packages, rolls with a lot of grass and price 320 PLN for one order. TBH you can definitely order better sushi in Krakow , disappointed 😒
UPDATE: The restaurant called me after 3 days and asked to remove the review. What’s interesting they told that they are sorry, but the only thing they were interested in is my google review. I was busy and asked to call me later and provide refund. They did not call back. I waited for almost month , just to check if they really care.
There are way better places then this in Krakow. The only thing this restaurant do is fraud and stealing your money. Just think about it - more then 300 PLN waisted in one order and they only think about reviews in google maps. It’s obviously visible from google reviews they just buy reviews and photos and do not care about customers at all.
Just sort reviews by negative and check
Worst place in Krakow I have ever ordered…
2nd update after the restaurant's response below: Actually, it's really rude to state that you don't serve "Ukrainian" sushi/rolls because I didn't mention anything about Ukraine. I am not connected to Ukraine, have never lived there, and I'm uncertain if it's respectful to make such comments about Ukrainians as citizens of another country. I've personally tried excellent Japanese restaurants in Krakow (won't provide names here), and to my surprise, they even offer more affordable rolls than your establishment. Your Google responses, evident even beneath my review, indicate a lack of concern for customers. I dislike fraudulent practices, financial exploitation, and disrespectful behavior towards customers.
BTW, I am not fully sure - but it seems to me that dill in sushi is not quite...
Read moreThe location of this Yana Sushi restaurant is perfect. Steps away from a tram stop and not many compeitors within the vicinity. Therefore, it needed to be good. The interiors is clean and spacious with a does of oriental style decor. There is no paint on walls or ceiling however which feels a little cold and hollow - the decor does it's best to minimalise this feeling. The restaurant operates a loyalty card scheme offering a discount on Sushi 7 days a week, however promotions are available on other menu items (Curries, Pad Thai, Ramen etc...) each ona differnt day of the week. Regardless of any promotions, the pricing is actually reasonable, so far as to say, I wouldn't go go on a given day just because of the promotional option. The Sushi served is professionally presented and always tastes fresh and tasty. From the other dishes, I recommend the pad thai - a flavoursome single dish that is both filling and satisfying, washed down with the pear sparkling water - delectable! So why only 4 stars? Well, service is hit and miss. Sometimes there is one or two waitresses, sometimes there seems to be loads. Why this is frustrating, is that I have witnessed several persons in the kitchen (It is an open view establishment) huddled around a phone giggling whilst I am waiting to pay a bill. As the parking meter ticks on by, it is hard not to be irritated by such occurances. On another occasion a waitress accidentally spilled a sauce down my jacket - sure, accidents happen, but wiping it with a tissue and telling me 'it is ok, it is ok' and disappearing, is not ok. Jacket washed twice in 24 hours. If only I can get through 3 or 4 visits without a let down in the service, i'd...
Read moreOverall - I recommend this place and will visit again.
Place is nice and cozy, relaxing.
Service -requires more than 5 stars - the waiter was so professional but friendly, he exactly knew the menu and ingredients of each meal, was advising what to pick. Overall I haven’t experienced such service in Poland for a very long time - this was great. As appetizer we were greeted with wakame salad. -Ramen was really good, with wakame, egg, fresh thinly sliced beef- very soft and tasty! -Pad Thai - one of the best in Krakow, reminded of Thailand The wait time for the meals was pretty long, but it was ok since we wanted to hang out with friends having drinks. 4 stars instead of 5 because: -delivery food was being packed in the middle of restaurant and you got a feeling you sit in a storage with all these bags in front of you -ramen came in not boiling hot, soups should always come really hot, it was lukewarm -ramen was not salty enough - we were advised to use soy sauce, and I know some folks do not like salty food, but the stock base should be cooked in a way you don’t need to season it, like other ramen places have -pad thai portion was a bit small
Overall, I will check in again...
