Good food quality, acceptable price, pleasant atmosphere. The main problem was the behavior of one of the waitresses, totally unprofessional.
Episode #1: We were a group of about 20 people, and I was stood up and talking to a friend of mine sitting at the table, when the waitress comes and says in an almost authoritative tone, "please sit down." I don't think she did it with bad intentions, and it was clear that the staff was under pressure in handling a large group of people. Nevertheless, a waiter telling me what to do as if she were a teacher talking to an eight-year-old is simply unacceptable.
Episode #2: I go to the bar counter and order a coke, and the waitress asks me if I am part of the group of 20 people, I say yes, and she tells me she will come by later to take orders. I'm sorry, but this situation is not to be handled this way: I am a customer at the counter, and you have the coke in the fridge behind you, and you can give it to me right away and make me pay for it right away. Why did you make me wait 20 minutes before you bring it to me? Although I understand the waitresses' mentality of wanting to serve us in a certain order, a customer at the counter is a customer at the counter, there is no good reason to make him wait and not serve him right away.
Tip to owners #1: Teach your waitresses what they can and cannot say to customers. The waitress was not a bad waitress, she even explained to us the ingredients that were in the dishes. I have the impression that she simply did not know that there are certain phrases that absolutely cannot be said to customers. No waiters tell the customer what to do, it is an imperative principle.
Tip to the owners #2: Simplify the procedures for those who want to order something at the counter that is not included in the group menu. The principle is: if I am at the counter, there are no other customers, you have the drink behind you, you can handle the cashier and make me a receipt, just give me the drink right away and don't make me wait...
Read moreThe food here was a real let down hence the feedback.
Tacos - too soggy which effectively made the tacos fall apart. Having that said the beef was really nice and probably the best taste in our visit. Perhaps use wheat flour rather than corn, but I dont think it is a Krakow thing but defo needed something to absorb the beef juice.
Wraps - we had both Chilli con carne and the chicken wraps. Unfortunately both were very unremarkable and we were expecting some more mexican flavours - lack of balance and acidity to make the food more remarkable (we had pickled onions in the chili con csrne burrito which we both added into the wraps). The chicken wrap in particular was disappointing, there was a bit of heat in the sauce but really was not much of it and it needs it to make it feel more of food prepared outside than a homemade wrap which this did.
Overall - cant recommend the options we chose and for the price we both expected...
Read moreI randomly walked into this place in the day because of the looks from the outside to grab a quick snack. Trust me it only gets better inside. This place has a really cool concept of design with bright colours and it will most definitely make you nostalgic with all the OG tech equipment you will find here. While I waited for my order I discovered their lounge and relax area, you can play the old Nintendo while lounging or snooker, table tennis or just read a book if you’re feeling calm. :) I tried their tacos and they were really nice. I would rate the staff and their hospitality 6 star, they are really chirpy, have a positive attitude and are attentive to your needs. I can only imagine that it gets better in the night. I highly recommend this place and it’s...
