Zakładowy Brewery Taphouse — Restaurant in Lublin

My Lublin friends like popping in here from time to time. It's a nice place, very modern and doing its best to be cool. There are many beers on offer, which is great.

The service is the usual Polish standard, very polite, proper and somewhat without warmth. If you are coming for the warm welcome, it may be underwhelming. They are polite though.

There are many board games available, a trend that seems to run through lots of the bars in Poland at the moment. It's a nice option for those interested.

Snacks include tortilla chips/nachos or jars of peanuts. Unfortunately they have a way of presenting them which simply doesn't work. The nachos/chips are sitting in a bowl, not in a sealed container. When we bought some on a previous visit they were all soft and had lost any freshness. It is a terrible idea to leave them out like this. Going for the other option, we purchased peanuts in a small jar. I'm afraid they seen better days too and we all agreed to give snacks a miss here, if we return in future. I'm not sure why they just can't sell small bags to sealed peanuts and tortilla chips, like the shops. I can only conclude it's about image, which seems to be a big thing in the cooler bars.

Overall, it's a nice bar, polite staff, and some board games available. My Polish friends from Lublin like popping in and meet others there. But maybe make the trip for the drinks, and...

Great selection of craft beers for ok prices (I appreciate very much that small beer price is actually half of the large so you can try many different tastes without it being inconvenient for your wallet). Staff is friendly...

Miejsce firmowe Browaru Zakładowego i to właśnie głównie ich piwa są dostępne na kranach. W butelkach wybór jest trochę większy i zawiera również ofertę z innych browarów. Ceny piwa lanego są dobre, chociaż ciekawe jest to, że w odróżnieniu od większości innych pubów największa pojemność do zamówienia to 0,4l a nie 0,5l. W pubie jest możliwość zamówienia burgerów, które są ponoć dowożone z pubu "U Fotografa". Trzeba się jednak liczyć z dość długim czasem oczekiwania i z tej oferty nie skorzystaliśmy. Lokal mieści się w nowoczesnym i ładnym budynku Centrum Spotkania Kultur, niełatwo do niego trafić, ale na stronie zamieścili...
