Follow-up experience in December 2024:

I tried to make an order a couple of minutes after the opening hours on a Saturday. To make things easy, I wrote down the starter, main, and sides I wanted. I showed these to the duty staff member.

The staff member kept repeating an incomprehensible statement that sounded like, "You want internet?" Despite my attempts to clarify what he meant in English or Polish, he kept repeating the same incoherent sentence.

The staff member also told me that this was Curry Leaves, which I already knew.

When I pointed at and stated the specific menu items I wanted, the staff member misunderstood "vegetable" as "chicken". This prompted me to give up and walk away.

New experience in July 2024:

After my initial visit, I decided to give Curry Leaves Poznań another chance, and I'm glad I did. This time, the experience was impeccable from start to finish, and I'm pleased to give this restaurant the 5 stars it deserves.

Curry Leaves has made significant improvements to its menu. The layout is now clearer and easier to navigate, which makes selecting your dishes straightforward and stress-free.

I ordered one lemon rice, one chickpea curry, and one plain roti. The lemon rice was a generous portion, easily enough for two people, and was perfectly cooked with a delightful tangy flavour. The chickpea curry was rich, aromatic, and packed with flavour, providing a satisfying and hearty meal. The plain roti was soft and well-cooked, complementing the curry wonderfully.

The staff delivered my order accurately and promptly. The attention to detail and customer satisfaction was evident, making this visit a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Overall, Curry Leaves Poznań has significantly improved its service and food quality. I highly recommend this restaurant for a delicious and authentic Indian meal in Poznań.

I paid 57 PLN (about 11 GBP) for one main with two sides.

Previous experience in March/April 2023:

We were excited to try such a highly-rated Indian food place during our recent visit to Poznań that we specifically travelled to the shopping mall just to dine here.

When we eventually found the food court ("Food Fyrtel"), we quickly grabbed a table and placed an order. Our order consisted of purely vegetarian dishes (no meat or fish). For those who need to know, the Food Frytel is on the ground floor of the shopping mall, by one of the entrances.

When our order was ready, I went up and collected it. We were disappointed to see that the staff had served us a tandoori chicken starter instead of what we actually ordered, which was the tandoori paneer. This was quite a serious mistake to make, as no-one in my party eats meat and we could have inadvertently done so if we hadn't paid attention.

When I took the chicken starter back to the staff to return it, they looked disappointed with themselves. This showed that they care about mistakes. I was told that the replacement tandoori paneer would be ready in about 5 minutes.

While we waited, I checked the menu again and noticed that they do serve rice (plain or lemon). I didn't notice this at the beginning because the menu layout and contents are not easy to process.

About 10 to 15 minutes later, the tandoori paneer starter was finally ready. But our party was already full from the mains and sides that we'd ordered. Helpfully, the staff provided sufficient takeaway bags and containers to take the food home.

The tandoori paneer was disappointingly bland. The dal tadka was commented on as being nice but the roti was overcooked. The vegetable guntur was super spicy, so don't order this unless you know you can handle it. The mango lassi drinks are filling so pair it with only one main.

Total cost was about 133 PLN for 1x starter, 1x main with naan bread and 1x main with roti, and 2x drinks.

I would like to revisit this place to potentially give it a higher...

It was my birthday, I wanted to take my mother-in-law for a nice Indian steeet food which used to be delicious here. I choose butter masala as it was perfect before, I was very happy with the taste few months ago so I recommended it to her. What we received today was tasting like some fix-tomato powder sauce. I have never returned food to the kitchen in my life. Taste is something very individual and even if I don't like the food, it can be bad day of a chief, food may be cheap and taste cheap - that's all normal and acceptable. However giving customers salty, tasteless artifical flavour food which does have nothing to do with butter masala is unacceptable. I asked for cash return which really spoiled half of my day as it's not pleasant to feel like an 'escalating customer'. I will never go back there as there are many Indian restaurants in Poznan which did not disappoint me, especially when I wanted to be 100% assured that I can recommend...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just had an amazing meal at Curry Leaves in Posnania mall, and I’ve got to say, it was a fantastic experience. The food was out of this world—each dish was bursting with flavor and perfectly spiced. Whether you’re into spicy curries or milder dishes, they’ve got something for everyone. It’s rare to find a place in a mall food court that nails the authenticity like this. Seriously, if you’re craving Indian food, this spot is a must-visit.

The vibe is super friendly and welcoming, thanks to the awesome staff. Everyone was so polite and genuinely seemed happy to help, which made the whole experience even better. It’s refreshing to see a team that’s not only efficient but also makes you feel right at home. Curry Leaves is definitely a gem in the Food Fyrtel, and I can’t wait to go back for...

Do picia mają w ofercie słodkie, słone i mango lassi.
