ZEST Rzeszów — Restaurant in Rzeszów

Tried this new restaurant and honestly we're extremely disappointed.

We got a variety of dishes mostly Tapas to try out the different foods and the chef failed to meet the mark on every single dish unfortunately.

We tried the Falafel which was very very disappointing one of the worst dishes we had it was basically paste that was deep fried. For those of you that know Falafel it should be the consistency of couscous just put together with lots of air and fried nicely.

The mozzarella from the Italian side was nice and delicious but it was a small meal and a small portion and it was basically just fresh mozzarella tomatoes and strawberries.

The calamari was the best part of the meal which is the sad part because calamari was very simple just battered and fried nothing special nothing extra.

The Korean wings were extremely salty the only thing that made him taste better was the sauce but the wings themselves were not good and it was also Flappers only there was no drums.

We also got one of the main dishes the one that had the prawns. The prawns were not good they were gritty they were sandy and dirty, they were not delicious. The mussels were okay, once again the star of this dish, but overall I would not rate the mussels as tasty.

Unfortunately we are very disappointed in this restaurant it needs a lot of work and the chef needs a lot...

I had a wonderful time at Zest restaurant, where I enjoyed the excellent freshness of the served beer, especially the Zwierzyniec Pilsner. The beer was cold, crisp, and refreshing and paired well with the delicious food menu choices. I tried the baked "Solanka" with roasted vegetables, which was cooked to perfection and seasoned with herbs and spices. The portion was generous and satisfying, and the presentation was appealing. The service was also fantastic, as the staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. They made me feel welcome and comfortable and offered me suggestions and recommendations. In short, stunned. I rarely like restaurants, I'm usually hungry after them and food can be so-so, but this place is amazing truly. From the moment when you enter, the place actually looks like some movie set restaurant, its unique in how it looks. The food we ordered was sea food which I also rarely like, but this was incredible in taste. We had seashells and oysters in some garlic sauce. The waitress accidentally spilled our drink on me but that can happen to anybody and we all laughed and reacted positively.
