Visiting from the US so thought this would be a great place to visit with my son who was missing some of his favorite fare. I wanted to like this place but was sorely disappointed. Here is our experience. At arrival, my son and I waited at the host/hostess stand which was outside of the entry, at least 10 minutes or more with no one in sight. On occasion we saw a waiter walking out to serve the outside dining area but no one even acknowledged our existence. Finally a young lady came out (wearing a trainee badge) and before we could speak, a rude lady who was clearly behind us in line asked for a table for 9. The hostess instead of asking the rude person to wait her turn, instead said she'd go inside to check?? I was about to leave when a waiter finally showed up and provided an outside table (he said no space inside whatsoever and we weren't even given that option). The same waiter did eventually show up and took our order. He did bring us a container of popcorn while we waited but then we did not see him again for a very long time. I got the distinct impression that the place was not managed very well, the staff had little training, and/or they were severely understaffed (which also means poor management).
Now to the food - our order was simple - my son wanted a plain hamburger, nothing on it except ketchup on the side. When it arrived, the bun was covered in mayonnaise. We waited so long, my son decided to wipe the mayo off instead of waiting longer. I ordered the Nachos which did not even remotely resemble anything you'd see in the US. For starters, the chips were tiny triangles that clearly came out of a bag that you seen in many of the Polish convenience stores - they were cold, not tasty and not big enough to hold any toppings. The bbq beef that was supposed to come with was more bbq sauce than meat and not a very large portion - not enough meal for one person let alone if there were people sharing as an appetizer. There were a very small handful of beans, a couple raw/uncooked pieces of jalapeno, and a dollop of sour cream. After consuming the paltry amount of toppings which had to be done with a fork, most the chips remained. I've been to amusement parks with better nachos. In summary, the place is a tourist trap when it comes to the food.
Lastly, after wasting over 2 hours waiting for our poor and cold meal, waiters again disappeared so we waited a long time to try to get the check. My son needed to use the bathroom so we went inside to try to find someone. Out front was someone who looked like maybe a manager but couldn't have been older than 25. I mentioned we were trying to find our waiter because we've been waiting to pay our check and he asked where we were sitting - we turned around and there was already someone else seated at our table (quite incredible how quickly that occurred when our table was not even cleared yet). I pointed this out to the manager and he simply said we needed to wait (at our table that was taken?) and then he disappeared. I finally hunted down our waiter who apologized by saying he was overworked that day. Inside, the kitchen seemed to be in chaos and wait staff were having difficulty carrying dishes up the stairs to the inside dining area. I felt bad for the young crew but not bad at all for either the management or the owners of what seems to be a chain of these restaurants (there was another in downtown Gdansk). I cannot recommend visiting this business which is neither well run or...
Read morePrime location in the heart of Sopot, steps from the seafront and main touristic avenue. The views of the Molo or promenade, which open from the first flow, are really nice. Over then, there's an outside terrace just in front of the entrance. So if you'd like to have a hearty lunch after swimming or walking around - this place would be a good choice. In terms of service and food, it's not that good. The ambience tries to captures the essence of a classic American roadside diner. And in my opinion, that is exactly what it is. Most often, when we come here, the place is not overloaded, there are free tables. At the same time waiters carry menus for quite a long time, sometimes they forget about it and we have to remind ourselves. The quality of cleaning also leaves much to be desired. Last week, when we were inside on the first floor, the paper tablecloths on were stale, popcorn and napkins were lying under the table. The food was pretty average. Baked potatoes were disappointing, while the corn was overcooked (though in the menu it is marked as grilled). So, don't expect...

This promises to be an American style restaurant and disappoints. Once seated, which took ages, we had to wait 30 mins plus to just order drinks, which then took 20 minutes to arrive (even though it was just coke in a bottle. Drinks were just about chilled but not served on ice. Food order eventually taken and over 60 minutes later the food arrived. Food was average at best, burgers slid apart due to so much ketchup, taste was non existence all marred by the overpowering sauces on everything. Tried to complain but fell on deaf ears. Even ended up getting my own drinks from the fridge downstairs. None of the staff cared, they said they were busy, but they were just disorganised, lazy and just not interested. The manager was eventually called (who was at home and had to phoned by the “pretend” manager). And out food was charged for, but this is a chain and the head office needs to send someone here. Our night was delayed, ruined and we were just exhausted frustrated and...
