17 Steps Cocktail Bar — Restaurant in Szczecin

I have visited this bar several times before because I truly enjoy the atmosphere and the creative cocktails with their presentation. However, during my last visit I experienced a situation that left me somewhat disappointed.

I ordered a cocktail that was served on a small metal stand. Unfortunately, the stand had three rounded legs instead of a flat base, which made it rather unstable. After taking a sip and placing the heavy glass back on it, the stand tipped over and the glass fell onto the table.

The staff quickly cleaned up, but when I pointed out that the stand was unstable, I was told that “this cocktail is always served this way and it has never happened before.” I paid for the broken cocktail, even though the instability of the serving stand clearly contributed to the accident.

I did order another drink and stayed to enjoy the evening with my friends, but I left with the impression that the situation could have been handled with more understanding and care for the guest experience. I hope this feedback helps improve...

This place is my favourite place to go for drinks and I have always enjoyed coming here. Unfortunately my last visit was not so pleasant. The staff was very rude. Even though the entire place was empty on a monday, the waiter first gave us tge worst place to sit. I immediately said no and asked for different place to sit. Then the waiter told me that I cannot sit the way I want to because apparantly their boss doesnt like it when you shift the chair a little bit. If I am a paying customer I would like to sit the way I want to. It felt like I am in a school where my waiter is telling me how to sit in a place which was completely empty. We visited 17 Steps Cocktail Bar in Szczecin without a reservation and were warmly welcomed by the professional and friendly team. The bar area is absolutely stunning, dark, elegant, and opulent, and sitting at the counter gave us the perfect view of the talented mixologist at work. It genuinely felt like watching an alchemist create something special.

The cocktail menu offers a fantastic variety, and when I asked for a gin with violet mix, it was made effortlessly and tasted wonderful. There are two additional bars upstairs, adding to the cool, relaxed vibe throughout the venue. We stayed for about an hour, soaking up the atmosphere.
