Wyszak Family Brewery — Restaurant in Szczecin

Hi All, so today on 11.05.24 I visited the brewery for my BIRTHDAY DINNER with my boyfriend. We were in Sczcenin for a short vacation from Berlin. My boyfriend is a chef and me I've worked in 2-3 different restaurants for atleast 2 years to not disrespect the professional at all. What we witnessed was completely unethical and unprofessional. I would go so far to call it inhumane by all their staff members. We visited the brewery for dinner between 8:30 - 9:00 pm. We entered and it was pretty crowded so we waited to be seated. Two people came after us and were waiting as well however the main waitress asked them first to be seated (looked at us but ignored) so we thought okay might be she knows them or they came previously there. We were sitting on the bar stools on there and stood up promptly so that we do not get left behind. Then more people came and 2-3 different waitresses came and asked them to be seated rather than us. They were not even standing at one hand's distance from us. The lead waitress kept looking and eyeing at us but kept ignoring. We were out since the morning and thought they probably think we can not pay them or don't have money on us or something. Later one waitress came and asked for reservation we said not so she asked us to wait 1 second and left. We waited another 10 minutes. Later, a new waitress came and asked another new people to be seated when my boyfriend interfered saying - 'excuse me? We have been waiting for more than 20 minutes and nobody asked us anything but kept ignoring us to which the waitress replied oh sorry and shook hands meaning ( I don't know).' We told her it's okay we do not want to be treated this way where everyone just kept going past us and ignoring us. Not even acting humane. Mind you my boyfriend is German and I am Indian. I myself work in the field of HR. We from nowhere look like homeless people (the way they were eyeing us we could tell) we were just tired from walking around the whole day. This was such an awful evening for me and my birthday dinner was completely ruined. I would never recommend this place to anyone that I know!!! Highly disappointed where infact I was looking forward to visiting the restaurant...

I went there with my boyfriend when we visited Szczecin for the weekend. We just wanted to grab a casual lunch but got so much more than just that. I usually struggle picking just the right beer to my meal. However, this wasn't neccessairy at wyszak as they offered a kind of beer tasting where you could get five of their beers in smaller glasses, introduced and arranged nicely on the table by a very kind waiter. The beer was amazing too, I did not neccessarily enjoy the amber ale, but that's just me. The rest (I remember they had a weizen, a pils, a stout and a porter I think?) was mindblowingly delicious. A nice complement to the just as tasty food! I ordered cod with fries and coleslaw salad, my boyfriend went for ribs with fries and a seasonal salad. We coulnd't believe just how good the food was! Huge portions, juicy meat, the breading on the fish was amazingly crispy, the fries were on point and the salads suited the main dish perfectly. Also we didn't have to wait long for our order, but this may also be due to the fact that we got there pretty early and were some of the first visitors that day so the restaurant was still somewhat empty. Anyway, the waiters seemed super friendly and attentive. The overall athmosphere was nice too, the dining room was a rustic vaulted cellar which was breathtaking and cozy at the same time. Music wise they played old school rock and roll which was enjoyable too, especially after one or two beers xD All in all I cannot comprehend the negative comments and bad ratings about this place at all. Dining there was one of the best experiences on our Szscecin trip and I cannot wait for the next time I'm in town cause I surely will be stopping by this...

W Wyszaku byłem w weekend. Jestem bardzo niezadowolony. Obsługa była niewydolna, jedno, że początkowo myślałem, że z powodu tego, że po prostu trafił się opryskliwy kelner, ale kiedy przyjrzałem się sytuacji, to okazało się, że na wszystkie stoliki w ogródku przypadała jedna osoba! Weekend, godziny szczytu. Masakra i współczuję.

Poszliśmy do browaru zjeść i porozmawiać w miłej atmosferze. Poprosiliśmy o stolik. Kelner zasugerował inny niż wybrany, bo było nas tylko dwie osoby, a stolik większy. Zrozumiałe. Mógł jednak wytrzeć z tych lepiących się fleków mniejszy stolik zanim nas w nim usadził. Czas oczekiwania na żurek o pojemności około 250 ml, bez smaku, podany w zwykłej misce, to około godzina. Burger "z jelenia" (tak podpisano w menu, ale trudno mi powiedzieć z czego była ta wątpliwej jakości mielonka) z frytkami kosztował 64 zł. Muszę powiedzieć, że smaczniejsze, tańsze i estetyczniejsze burgery jadałem nieraz w food truckach. Czas oczekiwania - ponad godzina. Jeden kelner na cały ogródek. Nie jest w stanie się wyrobić i współczułem takich warunków pracy. Sam wiele lat dorabiałem w trakcie studiów w tym zawodzie i wiem jak trudne jest to zajęcie.

W mojej opinii osoba, która jest w posiadaniu tego lokalu powinna zastanowić się czy prowadzić januszeks nastawiony na wyzysk i zarobek tanim kosztem, czy knajpę na poziomie. Jeśli to pierwsze, bo na to wygląda, to ceny są totalnie nieadekwatne. 200 zł za jedną małą zupę bez smaku, 2 wątpliwej jakości burgery, piwo i wodę.

Najlepsze na koniec. Po wypiciu piwa postanowiłem udać się do łazienki celem rozładowania powstałego w pęcherzu ciśnienia i oczom mym ukazał się zamieszczony na zdjęciu sedes. Tak drodzy czytający opinię - knajpa w centrum, narzucająca sobie dość pokaźne ceny w porównaniu z tym co oferują, nie jest w stanie zadbać nawet o czystość toalety. No ja rozumiem wiele, ale fekalia na muszli i desce klozetowej. Mocz na płytkach dookoła. Nosz kurde. Właściciele z mentalnością Januszeksu powinni bardziej się przyłożyć i zatrudnić dodatkową obsadę, bo to jakaś masakra co się tam dzieje. Mam nadzieję, że kiedyś trafi tam sanepid i inne odpowiednie instytucje i przyjrzą się działalności tego przybytku. Naprawdę kilka dodatkowych osób na zmianie i wszystko mogłoby być cacy, ale jeśli żal tych kilku stów na dniówki dla studentów, to nie można liczyć później za zadowolenie klientów.

W ogóle nie polecam. Drogie i średniej jakości jedzenie, które skutkuje rewolucjami dnia kolejnego, obsługa nawet jakby chciała to nie da rady być miła, bo jest ich za mało. No i za przeproszeniem zanieczyszczony kibel. Sorry. Ja jestem w stanie wiele znieść, ale w tej cenie, to chciałbym się chociaż załatwić...
