I visited Rosso Fuoco today and had a very disappointing experience. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, but we were told that everything inside was reserved and could only sit outside. We reluctantly agreed, despite the chilly temperature of around 10-11°C and the strong wind. To make matters worse, the provided blankets did little to help with the cold—we were literally shaking throughout the meal.
If the restaurant offers outdoor seating, they really should invest in something like gas heating lamps to make it more comfortable. It was honestly the first time in my life that I couldn’t wait to leave a restaurant. At one point, we even considered leaving before our food arrived because it was just unbearable outside. But since we had already spent 450 PLN on our order, we decided to tough it out.
As for the food, it was decent, but not outstanding—definitely not enough to make up for the miserable outdoor experience. And it got cold within a couple of minutes. To top it all off, by the time we left, the inside was still almost empty. I really don’t understand the policy of sending guests outside when the indoor seating remains vacant. They could have at least let us sit inside and leave before the reserved guests arrived.
It was a strange, frustrating experience, and I left feeling disappointed. I would not recommend this place to anyone during colder months unless they make some serious changes to their outdoor seating...
Read moreSadly, not that great. I remember eating there at the beginning, and the bistecca alla Fiorentina was very good. Now, the quality of the steaks is average at best, which is weird since both the beef tartare and carpaccio are good. We had the sirloin with truffles and the Argentinian ribeye. The meat texture is good, tender, but it doesn’t matter as the taste itself feels like it was seasoned very briefly, not for 21+ days. The sirloin color was very pale, a bit sour, with a faint hint of metallic taste (like fresh beef that hasn’t been properly seasoned). Both sauces were very acidic, which is odd, considering they were truffle and pepper sauces. The grilled veggies were very dry and felt like rubber (I had ordered a salad mix but unfortunately got the veggies instead). The whole dinner for two people was 460zl, and I would assume that for this price, we should have received premium meat. I'm just guessing here, but it seems like due to the high volume of customers, they might be running out of properly aged meat and serving meat that hasn’t been seasoned properly. I gave two stars for the service, as the starters were wrong and the side dish for the main course was also incorrect. And two stars for the atmosphere, as we were seated downstairs where it was...
Read moreFirstly, if it's a first date, you can't go wrong it's perfect. The food is just what you expect and seasoned fine, wait staff are attentive and food and drinks are served quickly. We had the carppicco of beef and tuna. Fine, nothing wrong there. Fresh looked fine, just as you would expect. Mains a couple of pastas, one with a spicy sausage and the other with a whole cheese that melts while you eat it. Again, fine. Washed it down with a bottle of house white wine. About 250plz and we were out. Now there is nothing wrong here it was fine, but it was not amazing either, to me it felt like there is a franchise behind the dishes, just enough so you think it's fine, I was missing a bit of heart and sole in the food, again it was fine I just think that they...
