De Novo — Restaurant in Szczecin

What a food jewel to find on our trip. Best meal and a porridge so good Goldilocks herself would agree. Location was really central, we arrived just after 1 on a Sunday and there were some tables free. Really liked the decor, and we saw a little dog inside so dog friendly too. We were greeted and seated right away and with my attempt at greetings in Polish handed the English menu. As this was our last day in the city and we wouldn't get a chance to revisit, we endeavored to try as much as we could. For drinks went with the Green Health Drink, Winter tea and Ginger Tea which came with honey topped with cinnamon on the side. For food, Traditional Porridge, made with coconut milk, it came with flaked almonds and the most amazing puree and it's definitely the best I've tasted. Also had the Shakshuka and a Healthy Plate(poached egg & avocado one) which came with their own bread which was delicious. Every tasted so fresh and healthy that I thought it only right to finish with a meringue cake. Which was creamy and sweet yet light. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted fantastic, we couldn't have ended our trip any better. Service was friendly and efficient, you pay at the till. Would definitely recommend a visit here and if you like porridge they serve a winner here. Hopefully my photos will reflect how great everything...

We did our research before picking our breakfast spot of the morning, we enjoyed it this morning. First, of all my only complaint is it took 15+ minutes to get a latte out. Once we received it, it was top of the line. This place is packed from the moment you walk in, so if you can place a reservation, I’d do so. We didn’t have to wait long for a table though. They also noticed we were English speakers, and got us the appropriate menus to make it easier to read. Very appreciated. I decided on the omelet with vegetables as I love asparagus, almonds and dill. The omelet was also plated beautiful and comes with a sauce. The flavors complimented each other, healthy, and was fulfilling. Even comes with their homemade bread which was fresh, soft, and delicious. My husband got the skillet dish with Pork. To Texas ppl we call this huevos rancheros. It was a dish we haven’t been able to experience since leaving home. Was a treat! I am from Berlin and my friend and I find this wonderful breakfast place, when we visited Stettin.

We reserved our table and i would suggest, that you should come to DeNovo soon too.

We loved our choice 🥰. The pancakes with potatoes and salmon and afterwards the cheesecake and the yeast bites filled with fresh apricots. So delicious and lovely to see.
