I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible restaurant, and I can confidently say it was one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. The atmosphere of the place is charming and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal.

One of the things that stood out the most was how attentive and professional the staff was throughout the evening. They paid close attention to every detail, ensuring that we were well taken care of without being intrusive. Their genuine friendliness and efficiency truly enhanced our experience, making us feel valued as guests.

Now let’s talk about the food—simply outstanding! The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the goulash, which was absolutely exquisite. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with tender meat that melted in our mouths. You could tell that a lot of care and expertise went into preparing it, and it was served with accompaniments that complemented it beautifully. Every bite was a delight, and it’s safe to say that it was one of the best goulash dishes we’ve ever had.

Another aspect we truly appreciated is that this is not a typical tourist spot. Instead, it’s frequented by locals, which gives it an authentic and genuine vibe. It’s the kind of place where you feel like you’re getting a real taste of the region’s cuisine and culture, without any of the pretentiousness or inflated prices often found in more touristy areas.

We left the restaurant completely satisfied, already talking about how much we’re looking forward to coming back. It’s rare to find a place that checks all the boxes—delicious food, exceptional service, and a cozy, authentic atmosphere—but this restaurant does exactly that. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We’ll definitely be returning on...

The restaurant is quite big, and has nice interior and outdoor seating areas. I tried their Zurek soup in bread, as well as the mixed Pierogi, both dishes were ok, nothing outstanding. I came with two friends and we were sharing the Pierogi, so it would have been nice to know which of them had which filling. We asked the waiter, but he just shook his head and told us he had no idea. This brings me to the negative part of the review, which is about their service. First off, it took a really long time to get our food. All of the waiters were running around, basically ignoring us, until I finally asked one to take our order, to which he reacted as if “oh yes, we forgot about you!”. All of the dishes took forever, which I really didn’t understand, since the restaurant was half empty and the dishes we ordered generally don’t take long to prepare at all. Finally, the waiter seemed frustrated, and rolled his eyes the few times I had asked him for additional drinks, dipping sauces for the Pierogi and the bill. Actually, both the hostess who showed us to our seats and the waiter seemed stressed and in a hurry the whole time, which isn’t so nice for the customers. If you cannot handle the pressures of serving people food and being hospitable while doing it, you probably should not work as a waiter. I’d give the food 3.5 stars and 1 for the service. Despite the nice interior decorations, I didn’t feel welcomed and, hence,...

I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant. Its setting is charming, with traditional old-world decor. The staff were incredibly friendly and respectful, offering helpful guidance when selecting dishes. The food was delicious—especially the bear meat. A great feature was the table with bread, pickles, and more, where you can help yourself. The pickled cucumbers were a standout and are definitely worth trying! We didn’t have to wait to be seated, though a queue formed then after. Despite the crowd, the food was served promptly, and the staff were quick to accommodate any requests. An accordion player played traditional songs all the time, which was very heartwarming. I highly recommend...
