Zakotwiczony oysters&more — Restaurant in Szczecin

Have been there a couple of times and the restaurant always delivered! Even though the menu is rather narrow compared to other restaurants, all the dishes are great and made from very fresh ingredients (some of which are seasonal and only time-limited offers). The wine choice is also very good and the staff are very happy to help with matching the right wine to the ordered dishes. The dishes are pretty adequate, meaning that one will definitely leave fully satisfied after a dinner consisting of 2 dishes, although it is not the cheapest spot around the town (more of somewhere jn the middle of the price-range). . . . . . Some may also mention an extremly rare seasonal delicacy, being a berry cake (or jagodzianka) that one may want to order in advance in summer season 👀 Definitely...

EN Excellent mussels packed with flavour and a bit of hotness from red peppers but not too much or overtaking. I ordered a side of fries with it - also nicely fried with a crunch. Hats down to the chefs.

My only complaint is the price. The bill was an exact 80zl that’s 69 I think for mussels and 11 for fries. Mussels are one of the cheapest dishes there are and I know how much same plate costs in Berlin or Italian coast. And this is Szczecin, close to the harbour and so I imagine those coming from one of the Baltic Sea farms but who knows. It just feels like it’s overpriced and they can make a buck -as they do in such restaurants -on other delicacies that are more extravagant.

Fantastic service! The women working in the waiting area are amazing– friendly, classy, and professional. I truly admire their composure, especially considering the challenges they might sometimes face with certain middle-aged foreign men who behave inappropriately.

Wyśmienite małże – pełne smaku i z delikatną ostrością od czerwonej papryki, ale bez przesady i bez dominowania całego dania. Zamówiłem do tego frytki – również świetnie usmażone, chrupiące. Dziękuję kucharzom!

Moja jedyna uwaga dotyczy ceny. Rachunek wyniósł dokładnie 80 zł – z czego 69 zł, jeśli dobrze pamiętam, za małże i 11 zł za frytki. Małże to jedno z tańszych dań, a wiem, ile kosztuje podobny talerz w Berlinie czy na włoskim wybrzeżu. A przecież jesteśmy w Szczecinie, blisko portu, więc wyobrażam sobie, że pochodzą z któregoś z gospodarstw nad Bałtykiem -ale kto wie. Po prostu mam wrażenie, że cena jest zawyżona, a przecież zysk można spokojnie uzyskać – jak to bywa w takich restauracjach – na innych, bardziej wyszukanych daniach.

Fantastyczna obsługa! Panie kelnerki są niesamowite – przyjazne, z klasą i pełne profesjonalizmu. Naprawdę podziwiam ich opanowanie, zwłaszcza biorąc pod uwagę sytuacje, z jakimi czasem mozna się spotykać ze strony niektórych (również z zagranicy) mężczyzn w średnim wieku, którzy zachowują się niestosownie.

Jeszcze raz dziękuję za wspaniałą kolację i miły...

The worst service ever. I made a reservation for 1900. We arrived around 1850 and waited until 1910 because they don’t prepare a proper table. ask to sit by the window.

Additional Info: We were asked to wait for the next empty table, another 10 mins. When the other guests, table of 2 left, the waiter said that we couldn’t be seated on that table and insisted to give us the table by the window.
