Hanashi Sushi & Teppanyaki — Restaurant in Warsaw

My favourite restaurant in Wilanów, maybe even Warsaw. Top level Japanese dishes with Teppanyaki corner. Both eating options (sushi and classic dishes and Teppanyaki grill) are superb! High quality products (yummy Wagyu A5, very tender and juicy Polish ribeye, bluefin tuna from world's leading brand Balfegó, label rouge salmon, 4 different kinds of soy sauces, etc.) and excellent carving and cooking skills ensure a delicious experience, not only for your taste buds, but visually as well. Their wine and sake selection is quite good and you can taste a couple Japanese beer brands as well! Very friendly service, always welcoming and efficient. It’s rare that a restaurant delivers on every level — service, food, ambiance — but this one did just that. We had a reservation for 7, and our table was ready exactly on time. The hostess even remembered it was our anniversary. We started with the tuna tartare and truffle fries — both incredible. Then I had the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce, cooked medium-rare, and it was pure perfection. My partner had the gnocchi with gorgonzola cream sauce and couldn’t stop raving about it. As a Japanese native, I can confidently say this restaurant offers an unparalleled experience. The interior immediately transports you to Japan, setting a serene stage.

The Wagyu was incredibly soft and flavorful, while the grilled scallops and shrimp were exceptionally fresh. Each piece of sushi was perfect, complemented by a fantastic selection of premium soy sauces.

What truly set the evening apart was the owner's personal service, guiding us through a delightful "food tour." The teppanyaki chef was not only friendly but also put on a great show, even celebrating a birthday.
