Smashny Burger — Restaurant in Warsaw

I had high hopes for Smashny Burger, and while it wasn’t a bad experience, it didn’t quite meet expectations. The fries were excellent—crispy, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. But unfortunately, the burger itself fell a bit flat.

We tried the Californy Burger, and while it looked great, the flavor just wasn’t there. The meat was bland and lacked seasoning, which is a shame for a smash burger. The menu mentioned a “Special Sauce,” but we honestly couldn’t taste it. Also, while this is a personal preference, I don’t think shredded lettuce belongs on a smash burger—simplicity is key! Next time, I’d try their Original Burger, which comes without lettuce and tomato, to get a more classic smash experience.

One thing that really missed the mark for me was their spicy sauce. I love heat, but this wasn’t balanced or enjoyable—just straight-up overpowering. Spicy should enhance the flavors, not overshadow everything else.

I ordered extra cheese and no pickles. The instructions were followed for the pickles, but I don't think I got extra cheese... there was really little (and it cost 4.50zl), and I also didn't get onion, which was listed on the ingredients. Also, bacon maple syrup? I couldn't tell the difference, for me it tasted like normal bacon. It was really disappointing and I was really looking forward to it... Specially disappointing that they forgot the onion. The meat was good, but the rest... not worth it. I will try again though, maybe...
