Studio Buffo is a prominent musical theater located in Warsaw, Poland. It's renowned for its innovative musical productions, concerts, and for being a launchpad for many talented Polish artists. History and Establishment The building where Studio Buffo is located has a long history. It was originally built in 1934 as the Polish headquarters for the YMCA. In 1956, it became home to the Buffo theater, a cabaret stage focusing on satire and light entertainment. In 1992, after the immense success of the musical "Metro", which had been staged elsewhere, composer Janusz Stokłosa (President) and director/choreographer Janusz Józefowicz (Artistic Director) founded STUDIO BUFFO sp. z o.o. They took over the existing Buffo theater, making it the first private musical theater in Warsaw after World War II, a status it held for many years. Their aim was to provide a permanent home for "Metro" and to create a unique space for Polish musical theater. Byłam na Romeo i Julia kilka lat temu oraz w dniu dzisiejszym. Jako wielka fanka spektaklu znam wszystkie piosenki i dialogi z musicalu na pamięć ( szczególnie w wersji która została wydana na płycie) i jestem szczerze rozczarowana. Wersja 3D kompletnie nie przypadła mi do gustu. Akcja w bliżej nie określonych czasach...momentami zastanawiałam się czy to kosmos czy to statek?... pogubić się można. Dialogi mocno ,,podkrecone,, na slang młodzieżowy ( mam wątpliwości czy tak 16 latkowie rozmawiają). Musical mocno stracił na uroku przez to tło w 3D oraz wątki wirtualne. Byłam na spektaklu z moją mamą która była w szoku, ale chyba raczej niezbyt pozytywnym. Powiedziała, że piosenki są piękne a reszta ,,dziwna,,. Grupą docelową są zdecydowanie wycieczki szkolne bo starsze pokolenie które było na sali wychodziło z dość nieciekawą miną. Na pewno nie polecę znajomym. Na duży minus zasługuje piosenka ,,sen,, która leci typowo z playbacku ponieważ śpiewają ją aktorzy którzy byli w pierwszej obsadzie spektaklu( m. in. można usłyszeć Nataszę Urbańską). Ojciec Laurenty porusza ustami, że niby to on śpiewa a to nie on. Nie rozumiem. Wszystko takie bez serca dla mnie.Scena balu była kiedyś przepiękna, wszyscy w pięknych strojach przechodzący przez środek sali.W chwili obecnej kilkoro aktorów w obcisłych cielistych leginsach z gołą klatą. Piękny głos Julii i Romea oraz Księdza to na plus. Podsumowując... dla młodzieży ok, dla starszego wymagającego widza nie polecam( wątki aplikacji, wirtualnych ludzi, smsów), to może być za dużo dla starszego pokolenia.Brak logiki, sceny następują po sobie bez sensu...piosenki wklejone w inny dziwny świat. Szkoda mi też tych elegancko ubranych ludzi którzy siedząc w pierwszych rzędach cały czas obrywali wodą w twarz...mimo że siedzieli w plaszczach przeciwdeszczowych i mieli na nosach okulary 3D też nie byli zadowoleni. Ocena 2! za sentyment do starszej wersji oraz...

One of the best eats in Warsaw! Really high quality meal with generous portions and friendly service. I didnt think the combination of duck, pear, cranberry and beetroot would be so good. Better than duck a l'orange. Everything was well cooked and full of flavour. So good we came back 2 nights in a row. Breaded pork chop was also excellent as was the homemade still lemonade which was very refreshing. Only slight negative was the long wait but we were eating at a particularly busy weekend. Highly...
