If you’re looking for a Polish restaurant that serves food capable of bringing a tear to your babcia’s eye, look no further.
We kicked things off with the cheese plate, and let me tell you—this was not your average sad supermarket cheddar situation. This was a full-on dairy celebration. Funky, creamy, nutty, sharp—it was like the Avengers of Polish cheeses showed up on a cutting board, and we were ready for battle.
Then came the venison stew over potato pancakes, and I’m still emotionally recovering. The stew was rich and savory, like it had been simmering since the fall of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The potato pancakes were perfectly crisp, soaking up the sauce like they had a job to do—and they understood the assignment.
Finally, the beef pierogi rolled in like the heroes they are. Pan-fried to golden glory, filled with juicy, flavorful beef, and basically daring us not to eat the entire plate in under three minutes. (We lost that challenge.)
The service? Impeccable. The vibe? Cozy. Portion sizes? Might as well be a buffet. You won’t leave hungry.
In short: If you like amazing food, buttery dumplings, and the warm feeling of being hugged by a country, get yourself here. You won’t regret it—unless you don’t order the pierogi, in which case:...
Read moreI think one of best polish restaurants in Warsaw. Service is great. So kind and They asked how was everything during the dinner and also were guiding us in choosing the right amount of food. We initially wanted to take 2 appetizers, one soup and 2 main dishes and they were super honest in telling us that maybe just 1 appetizer and 2 main dishes was enough. Really a great service. Food is amazing. We took potato pancakes. Best tried in Poland. Super crunchy, with potatoes and onions. Delicious. Pierogi with cheese and onions were so tasty and so big. Pork kotlet was so big, so tasty. Amazing. Desert was good too. It is a pity they do not have beef tartare in menu, but so many other things to try. Price is really honest, we spent 200pln for 2 people. Better to book in advance, we saw 8 couples that had not booked and there was no place to...
Read moreCame here for dinner with my partner and had a great time! We shared a mushroom cream soup and a meat broth with noodles for starters. I especially liked the mushroom soup which was rly creamy and flavorful but the other soup was good too. As mains we had a venison stew with potato pancakes and meat pierogi in mushroom sauce. Loved the pancakes! Super crispy outside and soft inside and they went great with the stew and sour cream. The stew itself was p good and not gamey at all. Pierogi tbh I thought were a lil dry inside but taste was still good and with the sauce it was no issue at all. Including two drinks the total was 210zl. Decent price and v big portions so absolutely worth it. Overall just a great place for a...
