I leave this review with great sadness and disappointment. As a person who has visited other branches of this franchise; I was not only left aghast by the lack of vegetarian options but also disappointed by the quality of the food. I understand that Express Oriental is a fast food restaurant and there are certain expectations I should and shouldn't have, but food should at least have flavor. I have never eaten Asian food or Asian adjacent food that was so bland, how is this possible? I've never had food that neither salt nor soy sauce couldn't fix. Please revisit your recipes. I would highly advise against eating here. The food we picked was bad, I would even go as far to say it was horrible. Potatoes were stiff and undercooked, the texture - unpleasant. Hot sauce tasted off, I would assume it was not fresh to say the least. Tempura vegetables were not good, also: vegetables were almost flavourless, and what flavour there was, was one of soap or chemicals. Cabbage salad too wasn't able to save the plate - it was bland.
