The atmosphere is vintage, very warm lights, nice to sit there and watch people. The toiletts are easy to reach, but a little poky.
I got the tortelloni with ricotta-spinach filling und two dashes of pumpkin sauce and another sauce, that reminds me oft mint sauce. On top a piece of sage and some olive oil. The dish had a lot of herbes, it was very aromatic, which fits to the spinach; the sauces fit great. The ricotta was not overpowering. Someone really put effort into making this dish a little more special. The price was ok, but 3 pieces doesn't make me full.
The also had a special lunch offer - 1 pizza and water/coffee for 30 Zloty, which is pretty affordable.
And the waitress did her best to take care of all the guests - the restaurant was really full at lunch time.
My biggest down is, that there is only a polish menu - no englisch, no german. And the waitress couldn't explain the dishes to me. It seems like a new restaurant, and Wroclaw is not as frequentend by tourists as other citys. But there has to be a solution for that.
What I can tell: The pizzas have a big rim, so if you like the dough - this...
Read moreThe food (at least pizza) is good, but the service is APPALLING. Whether you dine in or you pick up a delivery the serves couldn't care less. They're clearly overworked and there are too few of them. You are a nuisance at best and flat out ignored or being treated with hostility by the servers. They seem understaffed which results in EXTREMELY LONG waiting times at any stage of your visit. You come in - 10 to 20 minutes of waiting for a server. Than another 20-40 minutes for the actual food, and when you're finished - more waiting before you can even ask to pay. AND THAN YOU WAIT FOR THE SERVER TO ACTUALLY GET YOU THE RECEIPT. So yeah, the food is good, but no food in the world is worth that much time and that little care for both you and your...
Read moreWe ordered pizza and it was great. The dough was very good, thick but soft on the edges and thin in the middle. We had a Napoli (with fantastic salami and an excellent tomato sauce) and a Ukrainka. The latter ran out of veal sausage and they called us about it, which we thought was great and something we don't know from other chains. We also got salami on the Ukrainka and as a small compensation a delicious white bread on top. The pizza arrived relatively quickly and was warm and sliced. It was also transported well, as the toppings were on the pizza and not in the box. But above all, it was very tasty! It could be a bit bigger for the price, which is a bit high, but again justified by...
