"Pinokio" Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Zakopane

Visited this restaurant a Friday evening. Not that busy. Staff not very attentive. Took almost 15 minutes for someone to take my order.

Not sure if there was a language barrier (I don’t speak Polish) but originally I wanted to go for Aglio e olio, which according to the ingredients listed on their menu, should be vegan. I asked what is NOT vegan about this dish and the waiter was really confused with my question and mentioned that maybe the spaghetti contains gluten.

Yes, it is most likely correct, that the spaghetti contains gluten, but that wasn’t my concern. I asked if the dish contained any egg or dairy products, which was unclear to the waiter and it seemed like there was no interest to confirm with the kitchen (again, language barrier?).

I decided to go for the Verdure Pizza. Nothing special. I have never so much Rucola (overrated plant) on a pizza. Also overall a bit too salty.

We went there for dinner today, because I saw they make gluten free pasta. When we went inside, we weren’t welcomed at all. I went to look upstairs to see, if there is any free table but all of them were busy. There was a waitress (blonde girl) that saw me, but ignored me, followed me downstairs, and instead of atleast saying “hello” and telling us that it’s busy and we have to wait, she just pulled the tape that we couldn't pass through and left without saying a word. We only wanted to know the waiting time as it was our first visit at this restaurant. After a couple minutes of waiting, other waiter told us we can sit down. I work as a waitress in a busy restaurant too, and this it not what I act like when people come in. So we were pretty disappointed by...

We arrived on Saturday at 10.55. the waitress warned us that they don't open until 11.00, so we waited outside. they opened at 11.15 I wanted to order risotto but they told me that they don't make it today. My friend wanted ravioli, they didn't have those either. I had spaghetti with meatballs, they were good but could be more salty. ( the salt shaker on the table did not work). Friend of mine had baked pasta - 10/10 The pizza with gorgonzola nuts and honey was tasty, although it lacked any distinct flavor. Drink sex on the beach - the best I've had in a long time
