I've been to hundreds of churches in the world and never felt less welcome. Truly the most hateful congregation in Europe. There was no service going on I was walking around and looking at the church at which point a person told me "to get out". I guess not welcome to the public despite the collection plate. DO NOT VISIT

Note to reply: it was around 5 pm, there was no sign saying service in progress (which I have seen in many churches), I was dressed in a collared shirt and short (so not offensively dressed). I was taking photos but again look for a sign which did not prohibit the taking of photos. I really hope this church does not receive EU money if so I would like...

While wandering down Zakopane’s famous Krupówki Street, I found myself drawn into the Sanctuary of the Holy Family. It wasn’t planned — it just pulled me in. And honestly? I’m so glad it did. The peaceful silence inside hit differently after the buzz outside. The mix of stone, wood, mountain motifs, and sacred art felt warm and grounded — like the church has always belonged here. There’s something incredibly soulful about it. Knowing that Pope John Paul II once prayed here just adds to the energy of the place. Whether you’re spiritual or not, it’s one of those places that touches you quietly but deeply. Don’t rush past it. Step inside, sit for a moment, and...

I love to visit churches when I'm in different countries and this one is exceptional. The detail of the art on the ceiling and the stained glass windows was exquisite. We were only in Zakopane for a few hours but glad we got to see this church. There is a donation at the end of the pew where you can tap your card to any amount you would like that's on the screen. I think this is a great idea because a lot of people don't carry cash anymore. I would recommend it if you're...

Breathtaking church with a beautiful altar and impressive religious art both inside and out. Easter services were beautiful and the location of the church is perfect, with a beautiful backdrop of the mountains. Also near the local market in a very nice area in the town of Zakopane. Definitely worth a visit.
